Rachel's Food Diary! I WILL be a slim bride!

Thanks hun, feeling much better about everything now and i resisted the chocolate!

Yesterday's tea ended up being gammon, egg, and jacket potato with 3 tsp lurpack lightest butter (3 syns) and 1 tbsp ketchup (1 syn) so altogether 4 syns for Thursday.

Food Diary for Friday

Breakfast - Alpen light bar (HEb)

Lunch - Mug Shot, alpen light bar (HEb), banana

Tea - I'm going to a friendsn for a tea and she's doing homemade pizza *sigh*. There's quite a few of us going so its not like i can ask for something more SW friendly like i would if it was just us two. I'm a bit gutted because i'm having a night off SW tomorrow for my Bridesmaid Sleepover and we're going to have pizza, because me, laurenporkchop and another friend are doing SW and have all resisted pizza for such a long time, so we were going to treat ourselves. It wont be the same now having it two nights in a row! I'm not drinking at all this weekend and i've been 100% for the rest of the week so i'm hoping for at least a STS, and i'm considering bringing a bag of salad tonight and just having a tiny bit of pizza but i dont know if that looks really cheeky?! I'm stressing out a bit xx

if you want a good weight loss for next week, what are you like with soup?
If i've had too much to drink the night before, I make a lovely spicy veg soup which cures my hangover! and I use a bread roll as part of my HE,
I get a load of veg or whatever i have in my soup, simmer it with water and stock cubes and add medium curry powder - its delish!! and i always have a good weight loss at the end of the week!

No it's not cheeky at all. Hopefully like Leah said they will understand its important for u and it's not like uve gone yuck not sure cooking I'll bring my own! Xx
 
Thanks Girls :) well homemade pizzas didnt end up being *too* bad on Friday. They had a really thin base and were loaded with all sorts of veg so could have been worse. We also had homemade mackerel pate as a starter and chocolate brownie for dessert, and i had a few vodka and diet lemonades so still very naughty!

Not as naughty as i was on our Bridesmaid Sleepover though! Omg we ate SO much! Pizza, crisps, dips, chicken dippers, garlic bread, donuts, popcorn, chocolate and more! It was so good and we had such a good time, on Sunday j ended up chopping up loads of cucumber and carrot to snack on though cos i felt so groggy! I was all set up for a gain this week but i've STS so being 100% mon-fri obviously paid off!

Thanks for the soup suggestion but i just cannot stomach soup. A few years ago i went on a really silly crash diet and only ate one bowl of soup in the day for about 3 months and now it makes me feel sick!

Im feeling a bit annoyed today, im skint and always find SW really difficult at the end of the month before payday! Fresh fruit and veg is so expensive! Im going to London on wednesday until Saturday with OH to stay with some friends - both male who eat rubbish! Im taking my fry light, alpen bars and some fruit and already know im going to get roped into cooking (which i dont mind) and cos i'll have been paid im gonna try stick to plan as much as possible x

I just came on to share some good news :). Ive just tried on two dresses from Lipsy i used to love, one i wore for my 22nd birthday (16 months ago) and one for a friends wedding 14 months ago, both a size 12 and as hard as i tried they would not fit at the start of this year! I thought i'd give them another go tonight and they fit!! One was ever so slightly too tight but they zipped all the way up and looked good! Im really happy, finally seeing some progress and its spurred me on to have more willpower to try reach my target! :D

Nothing feels quite so good as fitting in old clothes you used to love! I went to my mums last week and came home with a binbag of forges I didn't move out with me because they didn't fit! They do now! Feels like a whole newwardrobe for free haha
 
Just got around to trying your version of the Tikka Massala Recipe, and THANK YOU! It was yummy and more importantly the OH was impressed! :D
 
I havent been on here for a few days, i've had a week completely off SW as despite my best intentions whilst staying with 3 boys in London, i just couldnt/partly didnt want to stick to plan. I didnt go completely overboard but did eat foods i normally avoid (like fajitas, pizza, creamy pasta, and an amazing pulled pork sandwich at the Hard Rock Cafe!) and drank a few too many ciders and G+TS.
I wasnt going to weigh myself today and have this week as an official week off but i could resist, and i've STS! Massive relief. Im putting it down to the fact that my appetite has got much smaller, i used to be able to eat so much more than i can now! So i think thats made a difference.

Anyway, back on track from today.

Breakfast - Apple, FF yoghurt

Lunch - Wholemeal pitta (HEb) with ham, lettuce, cucumber, spring onion and coleslaw (2 syns)

Snack - Grapes

Tea - sausages (2 syns) with mash (using milk HEa and butter 2 syns) with garden peas, broccolli and gravy (4 syns)

*Update* - i had a banana with 30g chocolate philly (4 syns)

Syns for Monday - 14

Thanks hun, i'm pretty pleased. I prepared myself for a gain so it was a pleasant surprise. Btw have you changed your diary? I cant get it on here anymore and its disappeared from my subscribed threads! xx
