Rainbow is leaving SW again! x

hello all! na, I cant get it anymore, so I get the fresh healthy living mince instead (think they discontinued it) to be honest, I dont know what weight i re-started at (and i dont know where my book is, not had it for the last few weeks!) all i know is i started at 18.1 when I started first time round (feb 08) and Im now 15.10, I reckon Ive lost bout 12lb since re-starting. Consultant said to me last night that Im not far off my stone now xxx

Yes Vix you are doing brill :)
xx

thanks gals xxx

I need to just stop pi**ing bout with this dieting lark, I keep cheating on SW, I think Im just fed up of the plan now, or oh i dunno! but anyway Im going to try LL! my friends aunty runs the class in the town where I work so Im going to go and meet with her next week to talk about suitability, eligibility and also if I think its suited to me or Im suited to it xxx

Oh lord.. You are brave
Good Luck tho if you go for it :)
x

I echo Claire - you're brave and lots of luck.

I know exactly how you feel about SW hun, I was fed up with it.... I felt like I was pi**ing about too, I feel revved up at the mo (apart from the chocolate craving), have you thought about trying WW's? x

thanks gals. I did consider WW but I think maybe food needs to be taken out of the equation, I know Ive said that before! I dont even wanna diet/lose weight at the minute, Im only doing it cos my bridesmaid dress wont fit me in August. Not wanting to do it isnt helping! x

Oh dear :(

Its so hard isnt it?

Have you got your BM dress and what size is it? Dont answer if dont want too! x

Hmmmm im sceptical about LL. My friend done it a few years back and lost 4 stone in months! But she only maintained that weight for a short period of time as the re-introduction to food again just didnt react well with her body. I personally don't believe its a healthy way to lose weight- its just a short term fix.

Whatever you choose to do i wish u all the luck possible but i really do hope u re-consider how well ur doing on SW even if it is slow at least your learning how to eat healthy.

xx

thanks niknaks, yer i know that a lot of people who do it put weight back on, but thats the same with any diet, I lost just pver 3 stone with SW stopped doing it for bout 5 months and put back on a stone and a half almost without noticing it! I think I'll give it a shot and see what I think, well thats if I get approval from docs.

yer Ive got the dress, its a size 16/18, but the lady in the shop said that the sizes arent accurate to normal sizes, dunno if others have heard that. she said its prob more like a 14/16. when i tried it on it wasnt tooooo far off fitting (maybe a couple of inches) but looked lumpy bumpy. I didnt want to get it but the other BM wanted hers and bride was worried we wouldnt get the ones she wanted nearer the time xxx

I couldn't agree with you more there Niknaks!

Rainbow hun, you are clearly not in the zone to 'diet' so I can't see you having the drive for something like LL which requires a very focussed head space.

As you know, I frequently slip out of the zone but while I am still living the SW way (even when I consider myself to be 'off plan') the most damage I am doing is gaining a few lbs or maintaining. As long as you are at least trying to stay on plan the damage will be limited whereas if you completely go off plan you can do a lot of damage! There are no half measures with VLCD's, you are either on it or not.

Personally I would say it's better to stay within the lines of a healthy plan even if you aren't following it to the letter than attempting something strict that may confuse your body and ultimately make you gain more.

That is just my personal opinion and of course you will make the decision that is right for you and we will all support you in that decision x

rainbow i did LL , about 3 years ago and lost 2 and a half stone in like 10 weeks , the weight fall off , but once i finished i had a hard time with food and use to make myself sick , my advice to u would be give it ago , but please please do the maintance to keep it off , good luck hun

Who is the designer? My dress was Italian so it was size 20!

I dont know the designer, I'll look tomorrow when Ive un zipped it out of the bag!! It wasnt expensive so its prob no one anyones heard of (I think I recall the woman in the shop saying it was American- dunno what that equates to)

I know bout being in the zone and i think I need the push or it being all or nothing, with SW or WW I can do it half heartedly and not get anywhere, or not get far, or lose the odd bit, but whereas with LL I will need to focus or else I know it wont work, and to add to that it will cost a bomb so it will be a total waste if IM not going to stick to it! x

Only you know what is going to work for you hun. Good luck with it x

American sizes are a size smaller than British

I agree with you hun sometimes you have to totally take food away to be able to get what we want, I was the same and did cd from June 08 until end of Nov08 and lost 5st. After a VLCD all your food habits are gone and you reintroduce the new foods you want to eat and make new healthier habits.

Good luck hunni.xxx You can do it.xxxx

Good luck hun with LL,keep us all updated how you do xx

Errrr.... thought you were going to update this lady?! Hope you're ok, are you on LL now? xx
