Sandra's maintenance diary.....

Hope you had a nice lunch .... Made up you dropped that lb!! :D xx

well done on the losing the lb sandra :) Hope you've had a lovely lunch xx

Thx you guys......actually I had 2 diet cokes (cos I was driving) and a roast beef sandwich made with wholemeal bread.....and that's all! The guys both had biiiiiiiig lunches but I've got a chicken to roast tonight so I decided to take it easy on the lunch.

1lb to go to get to 11 stone........can I do it this week? Haven't weighed that since 2004/05! Found some trousers today which, get this, I think I bought circa 1987, and they fitted perfectly.....Next size 12 and they're high waisted with pleats so might be fashionable again! I'm sure that sizes were smaller back then too:D I've got clothes in every bedroom, my dressing room and two huge walk-in cupboards on the landing and god knows what's in them.......this is gonna be fun!

Isn't it amazing the psychological effect that losing one measly little lb can have on your whole day? I felt soooooo much better today than yesterday.......

It IS amazing ... and rather frustrating at times the way the scales can influence our moods to such a degree!

have fun rediscovering all your clothes :D xx

Tbh Jan, I don't want it to! But I need to keep it off and for me that means weighing every single day......I've tried leaving it a couple of days but then I think, oh I'll just gave a kitkat or something cos I'm not weighing tomorrow.....I can see that becoming a slippery slope......I've never lost this much weight before cos I'd never been that heavy, must never, ever, ever get to nearly 14 stone again ever.....

I'm happy for you and your lb but I'm green with envy :(

HaHa Emma .. me too but I didn't like to say ;) :D xx

I couldnt hold it in :(

Well done on your 1lb off Sandra. To be honest, I think that is a great loss in the grand scheme of things, you dont have a lot to lose, so obviously you are not going to be having 3/4lb losses each week. Have a look at the size of 1lb of butter, and just memories the size, that is how much you have actually lost.

As for ready meals, keep a few just for occassions when you cant have something freshly prepared, but best to try and avoid them on a daily basis. I tend to batch cook, and freeze measured portions for days when I am working, or when I am nights to bring to work.

Keep that water intake up and the only other tip I can think of to pass to you is your PP's. You tend to guess at the points, rather than actually getting the exact points. Maybe a little under estimating sometimes. Just a tip and tell me to shut up if you like.....lol.

All advice greatly received Mary! As I said, I purposely ate the ready meals to keep an eye on the pints....but a fat lot of good it did me! Haven't really been eating too much that I could really miscalculate, but I haven't been having enough water! That much I do know....

This last few pounds is going to take a couple of months at this rate:sigh:

Not a good night's sleep again despite a soothing night-long cuddle from Dylan! He used to sleep cuddled up to Fudgee but now he sleeps under the duvet and shares my pillow! Paul commented last night that we've gone from having cats who weren't allowed in the bedroom to a cat who sleep between us under the duvet......how the hell did that happen?:D

Anyway, I find him so comforting that I even move to accommodate him.....we're in France for the weekend so perhaps I'll sleep better over there?

Had physio, went ok and my walking is greatly improved, doing lots of exercises to try and get my bum muscles back as it looks like a deflated
balloon! Going to put some heels on tomorrow as I have an interview!

Today's food...

B branflakes and milk (6pp) a handful of blueberries (0pp) vitamin C drink (0pp)
L skinless chicken breast (6pp) salad of lettuce, cucumber, red pepper and
cherry tomatoes (0pp) tablespoon Hellmans elf Mayo (0pp, I was surprised about this!) apple (0pp) banana (0pp) mullerlite yogurt (3pp)
D 2 boiled eggs (4pp) 3 slices wm bread (6pp) 2 finger kitkat (3pp)
Hot choc (1pp)

Total 29

Paul's going to be late tonight so I'm probably going to eat before him, have got some ready meals in the freezer but fancy a couple of soft boiled eggs and toast soldiers......

I bet you love it having Dylan tucked up with you in the bed. Lovely, snug and warm.
