sarah's simply filling food diary

No wonder you were exhausted!! The target you have set yourself by dog walk and kettlebells seems plenty to me, and I *do* think it might do you some good to cut down a little bit. I take it you are enjoying the kettlebells the most as that's the one you are sticking with? I did my second class of it tonight which was really good, especially as there were only 5 of us so got lots of personal attention so you could really perfected the moves - including why I ended up with bruised wrists last week (apparently I wasn't clenching my elbows enough with the "squat clean lift presses"). We did it with two kettlebells tonight which was different but really good. Don't want to see another squat for several days though - it got to the point where I was really looking forward to the press up section for a rest. That is not normal.

Hope stomach settles down soon, but agree with others that it sounds likely to be stress related. I prescribe relaxation!! Hope the car viewing goes well tonight.

I think when you go to none or a small amount of exercise and jump right up to hours and hours per day your body needs to adjust. Plus you need to adjust yourself and eat more.
So the target of 40mins per day and a DVD is fine. But we're not athletes and small targets are brilliant. It's a lot better than the average person that do none.

Absolutely agree with Purpled. There was an interesting bit on the news this morning about physical activity - a pretty big medical study has found a similar risk factor associated with inactivity as smoking in terms of a variety of health problems. They recommend 2.5 hours of moderate activity per week is enough to really protect health but 2 out of 3 people in the UK don't even do this amount. It actually made me feel a bit smug given how much over this I have been doing for the last couple of months. I reckon with the amount you and Purpled have been doing you must be doing the recommended amount for several other people as well as yourself!

Hi Sarah! So this is my first day with no WI!!! Very strange. It's hard to guess what I may have lost, as I've stuck to plan but eaten a lot of crappy foods. So anyway I had a meal out last night with no worrying about WI today! It's feels great!

I no what u mean about not having to worry about having a meal out b4 Wi! To b honest I'm a lot more relaxed knowing that I don't have to Wi tomorrow and I don't even care about wether I have lost or gained this wk, a bit wierd but better than constantly worrying!

I think we all worry too much. I'm glad I'm not weighing in for a month as I was getting a bit obsessed tbh. As long as we are sticking to plan then our bodies will lose the weight :)

Yeah hopefully!

I defo agree.. Have just been saying the very same to another girl on MFP..
And don't forget.. When you're exercising you're building muscle which takes up less space than fat so make sure you look at inch loss as well as pounds...

Yeah we r doing measurements too! If I loose a few inched and no lb I will b happy but if I don't loose much in either I won't b happy

Have you decided on your 10pp chocolate?? Two wispa would probably be my vote. Or one wispa and a slice of cheese on toast ;)
