Sarah's Slimming World Diary!

Really pleased with food today. I have usually caved and had a crap eating session by now - pleased I'm on track!

B: 2 x sausages (1 syn), mushrooms (sf), butter (1 syn), scrambled egg (f), banana (sf)
L: sandwich with bread (HExB1), cheese (HExA1), cucumber (sf), spring onion (sf), salad (sf), ham (f), wotsits (5 syns), tomatoes (sf)
D: chicken (f), wrapped in bacon (f), stuffed with Philadelphia light (HExA2), mushrooms (sf), Reeses Pieces (9.5 syns)
S: HiFi Deluxe (HexB2)

E: hour of Zumba

So I'm obviously at 16.5 syns rather than 15 but that's fine with me. I saw the Reeses Pieces and HAD to try them! I'm a massive peanut butter addict! Love the Reeses peanut butter cups, but they are 15 syns a packet and I get through them quickly!

The Reeses pieces are 9.5 syns and you get loads! I just sucked each one so it took an hour to finish! Totally worth the syns.

This is how many you get! (And I had already eaten a few)

Have you tried the mini reeses cups? I have them in, and they're 2.5 syns each and I suck it, and only end up eating 1 xxx

No, not tried those - haven't seen them anywhere. I only really shop in smaller versions of the supermarkets, so don't have a huge range to choose from. Also, I would probably eat the whole packet if I had a pack of mini ones - as sad as that is, I still haven't mastered control over multipacks of things! If I buy a packet of Kit Kats to last the week, they will be gone in a day!

Ahhh I saw your thing on Facebook, wondered why he was a dick!! It's not really that big a deal, he couldn't have done a lot with those as it's a passport but not with his photo on! Unnecessary really, just an attention seeker obviously!

Day off today and the weather is meant to be nice. Might try to go for a walk - all depends how I get on with my work! I'm thinking of trying a green day today...

B: yoghurt (f), banana (sf), raspberries (sf), HiFi Deluxe (HExB1)
L: pasta (f) with Philadelphia (HExA1), and a tonne of veg (sf), quorn mince (f)
D: bread (HExb2), homemade hummous (0.5 syns), something else but not sure what!

I've read that people have better losses on red days. I need to find some alternative for potato - maybe butternut squash.

Food for today ended up being...

B: yoghurt (f), banana (sf), raspberries (sf), HiFi Deluxe (HExB1)
L: homemade leek and potato soup (f/sf), tomatoes (sf), bread (HExB2), homemade hummus (0.5 syns), spread (1 syn), cheese (HExA1)
D: pasta (f), leeks (sf), mushrooms (sf), Philly light (HExA2), yoghurt (f)
S: Reeses Pieces (9.5 syns)

Total: 11 syns

I've read that people have better losses on red days. I need to find some alternative for potato - maybe butternut squash.

Feeling good this morning. Had a good lie in and a sneaky weigh in which is showing a SIX pound loss!!!! Can't believe it! Checked a few times and its right. I think because I maintained and put on for a while, it's all catchin up. I've had such a good week foodwise and been to Zumba twice. I'm sure by weigh in it won't be a 6lb loss as I weigh in the evening, but so happy!

Extra Easy today. Food for today should be....

B: yoghurt (f), banana (sf), raspberries (sf)
L: leek and potato soup (sf/f), toast (HExB), spread (1 syn), cheese (HExA), hummus (0.5 syns), yoghurt (f)
D: sausages (1.5 syns) mash (f), beans (f), mushrooms (sf)

Will have a treat later - not sure what.

Went off plan yesterday - knew I wouldn't make it through the entire week! Oh well, back on today:

B: none - we went to the supermarket and got held up in traffic so took ages
L: leek and potato soup (f/sf), bread (HExB), cheese (HExA), spread (2 syns), hummus (0.5 syns)
D: egg fried rice with bacon (f/sf), peanut butter (1 syn)

Hopefully will minimise the damage yesterday would have caused!

Been a bit picky with food today. Mostly free or v. low syns. Got that weekend peckish feeling. So annoying!

I've tried to do coursework and have no motivation so made jelly sweets (not chewy enough to be like real sweets, but good for snacking on!), 1/2 syn roulade (didn't have greaseproof paper so had to do on foil - worked but not as well as it would on paper. Tastes OK - the filling is the nicest!), and carrot and butternut squash soup (was a reduced packet of soup vegetable mix so gave it a go - 55p and two portions of soup - ideal!)

Ooh that's exciting! I don't think I could do something like that, not without a few buoys along the way to have a rest on!! lol

Yeah I'm very nervous but think it should be ok with the right training! It's the same distance as the swim in a triathlon, and is apparently the swimming equivalent of running a marathon - when put like that it seems so scary!

I have weigh in later. Hoping it'll be a good one. Got to go to a later one than I usually do so hope that doesn't affect it. Plan is...

B: none
L: mugshot (2 syns), banana (sf)
D: not sure yet

What a rubbish plan! It's tricky as I'm out in school this afternoon.
