Sarah's Slimming World Diary!

Sounds like you're doing really well!

Thanks, yep feel like I'm doing well!

I've just popped to town and bought some Danio yoghurts. I have seen them advertised and heard good reviews. I managed to try a strawberry one for 1 syn the other day and thought it was lovely. Found some passionfruit ones today, 44p in co op.

OH MY GOD!!! They are amazing! They are 1.5 syns and I would usually resent using syns on yoghurt when I can have muller lights for free. But these are so worth it! The yoghurt is so thick that the spoon stands up in it. There is a bit of passionfruit sauce on top and LOADS underneath! 0% fat. High protein. Just amazing!

Don't really have any sort of plan for today. It's WI tonight at 7:30. Never been to one so late and hope the time difference from 1 to 7:30 doesn't make a huge difference!

I'm going to have a Danio yoghurt for breakfast with blueberries. If I have time before work then ill try to rustle up something to take with me for lunch, otherwise it might have to be a MugShot for now and lunch when I get in from work/uni at 2:20.

Feel like I may be very hungry today as I don't want to eat loads before WI!

I've just changed my stats on here and realised I met my first target which was my Club 10 - yay! So have reset my target (I like small ones!) and have made it 13.5 stone as that will take me to just overweight rather than badly overweight (how bad is that?!).

That is 20lb away and I want it ideally before Amsterdam which is 10 weeks away - 2lb a week is doable. However, being realistic, my aim for then is Spain which is about 14 weeks away. Fingers crossed!

Bit tricky this weekend as I have come home. Food is ok... Being sensible Ish! Went out for lunch yesterday so had a big lunch. However, did do an 8 mile walk last night for charity so that burnt off over 1200 calories!

Off to a National Trust property today so a bit more walking.

I've had a really odd pain in my stomach for a few days - I think it is gradually going. It's woken me up the past three nights. Just to the right of my belly button, like a stitch or a pulled muscle which aches all the time and then has sharp stabbing pains - really weird! I rang NHS direct and they said just to take painkillers and go to the docs if its sill bad on Monday. So yesterday we were supposed to go swimming training but didn't as I was in so much pain. Funnily enough I didn't feel it at all while walking last night.

So today will be difficult to be on plan as I'm not home, but ill be sensible and make the most of the walking around.

Tomorrow I can get back in control as I'm heading back to uni. Then back to essays, swimming, work and routine!

Have been off plan most of the weekend - not horrendously, just not on Slimming World - find it really difficult when I go home as there are lots of meals out, meals in etc.

Got tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday to reign things in for WI on Thursday night. Mum has given me some lovely SW sausages which are syn free - yum!

Going to swim tomorrow and maybe Wednesday too. Decided to do some kettlebells too as I think it will help my swimming.

Just realised I had nothing prepared for lunch tomorrow so have been on a bit of a manic cooking spree!

Cooked up all of the syn free sausages so that they are easy to use when I need them. Have made four portions of cous cous, made in a veg stock so it's a bit more flavoursome. Mixed with onion, spring onion, green beans and peppers. Have made tomorrows one with some cheese and will pop a sausage in too.

Have hard boiled six eggs to snack on. And have made a bowl of hummus. I actually meant to make the hummus last week so the chickpeas have been sat in with garlic for about five days! Seems fine though and has really soaked up the garlic flavour!

Am going to try to make my way through my freezer and cupboard, buying as little as poss. Will need to get some fruit and veg tomorrow though.

Great planning! How do you make your hummus?

Oh sounds nice and easy! How many portions do you reckon that makes? Trying to work out rough calories!

How are the plans to move going?

Hmmm well it depends how you have it - I think it will make about four portions for me, maybe six - but as I'm doing slimming world and not CC, I don't really think about it!

Moving plans are ok. Still waiting until the end of May for flats to be advertised for when we need them. My mum is looking to buy a house to rent anyway, so has said she could possibly do this for us- and dave has also said he might look into getting a mortgage. So, it's all a bit confusing!

Today is going ok.

B: Danio yoghurt (1.5), raspberries (sf)
L: cous cous (f), with green beans (sf), onions (sf), spring onions (sf), cherry tomatoes (sf), sausage (f) and cheese (HExA). Banana (sf) and 2x Alpen Light (HExB)
S: mugshot (f)
D: not sure!

Went for a swim after work. Paid, swam for ten mins and then they closed for lessons! I was fuming! Had paid to get the bus there, paid for swimming, got really psyched up for swimming 100 lengths non-stop and had to finish after ten!

I complained. I said although I should have double checked the timetable, they shouldn't have let me pay when they knew I would only have ten mins! They gave me a free session luckily.

So tonight I need to do some more of my assignment and come up with some sort of dinner
