Hope Dave is ok with you tonight, I'm sure it will have blown over by then. From personal experience, men are better staying away from washing machines... the first time my OH used ours he snapped the handle off trying to get the door open... the door lock was still on :-/

What is it with men and washing ... I have lost count of the number on times Chris puts my nice black clothes in with towels !!! Covered in bits then lol xx
 
They are a total liability. At least he tries, I suppose. And normally it's ok, he throws everything on an 'every day quick' 40 degree type wash. But last night, in his infinite wisdom, he wanted to Glo-White his shirts on a 60 wash. Men!! xx
 
Amazing news with the job! Definitely go for it! Whatever happens with it, although I think you'll ace it, it's always good putting yourself out there!

And men will never change ;) Glad you're friends again though xxxx
 
Oh Sarah, I hope nothing you adored was ruined. It's those tiny little things that can just drive you insane because they are so easily avoidable! Glad you've made friends again though as I'm sure he will have definitely learned his lesson the hard way!

I think that's an amazing opportunity re the job. Forget any preconceptions about age or position or time in post, if you meet the criteria - go for it!! A maternity cover post is perfect too as it gives you an opportunity to try it out, see if you enjoy it but also to prove yourself so If anything similar comes up you're in a perfect position to go for it if you enjoyed it first time round!Xx

Boys are such wallies. I swear they balls things up so we won't ask them to do it again! Yesterday I came home to find rob had taken everything in my ironing pile and re washed it...after it had just been washed and hadn't been worn! I mean really!! We have separate washing and ironing baskets... They just have no clue! :)

Haha. Loving all these random useless boy stories!

We're currently chilling with peppermint tea and watching Aussie Masterchef with a facepack on.

Here are the cakes - pretty pleased with them actually, and Dave helped which was super cute.

Oh dear...rather off plan weekend! Champagne...gin...cupcakes...buttery mashed potatoes. Thanks to my 2 fast days last week, I managed to lose 1lb at WI, but I could have achieved so much more if I hadn't fallen spectacularly off the wagon yet again! Why can't I handle weekends?! Grr. Only 2 more weeks 'til the wedding and we are at MasterChef Mother-In-Law's next weekend so I have no hope of being on plan.

On the plus side, I popped to Bluewater with Mum yesterday and got a lovely dress, so I now have two options depending on how I'm feeling on the day...and also depending a bit on what the weather is like - the Louboutin's aren't going out if it's hammering down with rain! Will post some pics later :)

Plan for today is EE:
B - Muller Greek (1/2) and a 'nana
L - Have bought Ainsley couscous in but don't really fancy it so might have a salad from Tesco
D - Bubble and squeak with leftover gammon. Yum!!
Snacks - TBC
