Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Due to my chest infection Dr says I shouldnt go to the gym for another week and then next week I'm on lates so dont usually go, I'm thinking maybe a bit of Wii-fit as long as i dont get too out of breath - Do you think it's a good idea or no????

I'm no expert honey, but I would just say listen to your body. If you feel like you can do a little bit, then give it a go. WiiFit definitely isn't like going to the gym so I would have thought it would be OK? xx

Thanks lovely, I'll see how I feel later

Ugh...feeling rubbish girls! Managing people is so hard! Just had to deliver a less than positive appraisal rating to a member of my team and they didn't take it well. Feel really bad, but it had to be done.

On the plus side, I've still managed to resist all the birthday chocolates that seem to have been bought into the office today!

Can't wait to get home to Dave for some cuddles and yet more Walking Dead! xxx

Awww babe, it's always tough for people to hear feedback like that. I think it's a much better reflection on you for being honest though, I know so many people who don't get that kind of feedback and then wonder where they're going wrong!!

Is the walking dead on netflix? Recommend? We're looking for something else at the minute - nearly finished Gavin and Stacey - MF had never seen it before!!!

Thank you honey. It's so hard to hear but I needed to talk through it before she got her letter with her rating and was really surprised and upset. There were tears...it wasn't nice. I wish I could just do my job and not have to have a team as well! :(

He had never seen Gavin and Stacey?! OMG!!! Did he love it? I thought I was late to the party when I discovered it four years ago! (I only remember when it was because it was just before I met Dave ;))

The Walking Dead is AMAZING! It's not on Netflix I don't think - we are watching it on Virgin Media on demand through our Tivo box. SOOOO worth watching! Pretty grizzly but totally addictive. We watched the first two seasons in just over a week at the beginning of December and the third and fourth seasons have just arrived on Tivo - we have done almost all of season 3 since Sunday! Three more episodes to watch tonight - whoop!

Oh my lord Gavin and Stacey is blooming amaze!! I downloaded all the series and had them on my iPhone whilst travelling four years ago so have numerous happy memories of giggly long plane or train journeys across India China and South America! Such classics!! Xx

Morning gorgeous ones!

All the work silliness pales into insignificance today - it's all about remembering my Grandpa, who we lost 5 years ago today. I do still think of him every single day, but today, along with his birthday are always the worst. He was such a huge part of my life, I still find it really strange that he's not there when I open the door to my Grannie's house, sitting in the corner smoking his pipe and doing a ridicilously hard crossword. Off to the crematorium at lunchtime to take some flowers and light a candle in the little garden where we have a stone for him next to my cousin (who died when he was 20, 18 years ago on 20 January). January is a bit of a rubbish month for things like that! It's nice I have Dave's birthday on 24th to take my mind off it all!

Aaaaanyway! EE day again today - need to make dinner sharp-ish when I get in as Mum and I are off to our first dance class tonight!

B - Muller Light and a banana
L - Leftover pork noodles
D - Roasted beetroot risotto (roasted the beets last night - they look yum!) with HEXA parmesan
Snacks - Melon, Bran flakes (HEXB), syns - TBC

Happy hump days girlies! Down hill to the weekend!

xxxx

Aw honey I completely understand about your Grandad :( It is always lovely how they have made such an impact on us though and have strongly shaped who we are xxxx

Thanks ladies. Definitely lots of happy and proud memories - just wish he was still here to sing a silly song or make a 50p appear out of my ear! ;) xxx

Completely understand that feeling, in a week it will have been a year since we lost my nan and christmas was so hard without her. Hope your dance class takes your mind off it a little bit this evening!

Food all looking yum - definitely require a pic of the risotto :)

Thanks Sophie. I remember that first Christmas and really feel for you and your family.

I'm a nightmare for remembering to take food pics because by the time I've dished up dinner, I'm starving! But I will try my best ;)

xx
