It's that time again! Night shift time. Feel sick at the thought of it! Had a lie in this morning and really wasn't in the mood for a proper breakfast so just had a pick and a few glasses of water. I've such a sore throat and head today, hope I'm not coming down with something!

Hiya. I am addicted to the popcorn, especially the lime and chili one.
Question on the pulled pork, what cut of meat are you using? I see people eating it alot in their diaries but when I went to look for pork (I think it is shoulder) there is way too much fat on it
 
Hey, yeah the popcorn is my new favourite 5 syns!!!

When I make pulled pork in the slow cooker, I use shoulder of pork, but cut the skin and rind off. Try and removed some of the visible fat from the outside but overall, I just eat the joint as it is after that! Pork in general is quite lean as long as you take the skin/rind off the outside! For the pulled port in my rice, I just bought tesco hot and spicy pulled pork meat that I saw in the sandwich section! Heard on a Facebook group that it's free!

My husband and I have an appointment at the fertility clinic Thursday at 4pm. Nervy nervous!!

April 21st 2016 - THURSDAY - finished nights 0800 now off on annual leave!

So my husband and I had an appointment at the fertility clinic at 1600. It went really well, and have got a plan for now - keep losing weight, get below 35 on bmi and if still not pregnant after that, refer back for medication to boost ovulation. They were so nice and I feel so so positive!

I hadn't eaten before we went, and the diet kind of went out of the window, post night shift and on a bit of a high so we went and had burgers at Frankie and Bennies, followed by an ice cream as it's the most beautiful day here in Fife! Such a treat, and indulgence but life is for living! Back on it tomorrow.

Thanks for that. I sometimes get a gammon joint if its looking lean and cook that up. Was wondering how you could do the same with pork shoulder as they all look so fatty! Mystery solved.
