i love all the little rides last time the 2 1/2 yr old was more in to the haunted manor house ride :/ i was not impressed hope my little one is happier with the small rides , knowing my luck they will want to go on the ones that throw them around !!!
 
I really love that ride... I'd actually like to be alone on that little train, and have it break down, so that I can get out and have a little wander around... there's soooo much to take in and look at :D

Oh no, definitely not. I bet that those little animatronic people come to life at night. It'd be like something out of a horror film. :eek:
 
I have got that it's a small world song going around my head now and I can't gt rid of it - I am holding you two responsible :)

im drinking water by the bucket load i have a stinking headache I know im going to be so peed off with the weigh in tomorrow ....18 miles and no doubt an sts after the 2lb i lost sat morning and put back on ....wonder if my body thought i had gone into starvation mode with over use on the walk lol
 
Oh B****R Tan - that will be a disappointment - I think your body is ready for conso hon'. You deserve to lose at least half a stone walking all that way!
 
yep and it was hill climbing over the moors !!!!

I do think of conso but i wanted to get lower , my legs are still flabby but then toning may sort that out rather than dieting ...not sure i can face conso either ....I may carry on till disney , see what weight i come back from disney if im still around the same then i will conso if ive piled ona few pounds then carry on till i get a loss if you get my drift
 
sounds like a good plan scrumper, and you never know what the scales will say for WI...

at the end of the day if you're sts till disney anyway you can't hurt by waiting till after before making a decision on conso.
 
thanks ....youre right a desicion will be made in the next month maybe i may still lose a few lbs on conso ....must get my book back of a my friend so i can read up on it not even looked at it I do know i wont be going near bread or pasta again ever !!!!
 
If you're not going near bread or pasta ever, then you'll not be doing Conso then...!! I agree with your plan to stay in ketosis until Disney. Not long to go...

Please don't let a bad weigh in throw you for the weekend though. Stick at your strictness cos it's really paid off these past few weeks.

i know conso will be wierd with no bread or pasta ,,, but |I have had to see this as a life change rather than a diet ....wheat makes me feel rough and pasta is the fat devils food !!!! ive been without them this long so i will survive
disney i will make sure i have my oatbran eat the ham maybe a slice of cheese and yogurt or eggs in the morning and then in the park i may sneak in beef jerky and a sf jelly ...night wont be bad cos if the kids have burgers i can have the meat and bin the roll
 
cleaning again today and sorting out loads for a car boot ....must go shopping too the meat supply is looking sad

Ever nosey, I'm now intrigued as to what your "next phase", whatever we want to call it if not strictly Conso, will consist of then... any thoughts?
 
i leant my book out so cant read whats allowed ...... obviously even if i make dukan bread rather than galettes it has a negative effect on me ...
pasta is just plain evil and ive not missed it in the slightest
Im not sure what im allowed to be honest till i retrieve my book or pluck up the courage to look at the conso girls diaries ...(sorry girls i dont mean to ignore you )
my veg intake will increase and a small bit of cheese is allowed but to be honest noodles i go for yam ones the only carbs that I would like back is rice and kidney beans , even potatoes i can live without ....i expect i will be looking at conso menus and deviating slightly from there

I understand what you're saying perfectly. It's an atypical opinion, in that most people want to have a more "normal" (whatever that is given what I see in people's trolleys!!) food intake after the restrictions of Cruise.

It will be interesting to witness your experiment.
 
Tan, I totally get you! I enjoyed pasta lots before diet (possibly made me bloated but I'd have eaten it too often to notice any difference from days I didn't have it) but really don't now. Bread bloated me at first, switched to rice cakes, now have both but mostly bread, so I got used to it eventually!

Carbs that I have regularly - rice (WM if I'm cooking, white if not), pulses, quinoa, barley, Ebly, couscous (if I'm having the whole N African dish, not generally with anything else), potatoes occasionally to accompany something else and often in soup. I will have a little pasta (in soup usually if I have it here) and have even managed the odd spag bol or carbonara, but although I've not been ill, I haven't enjoyed it either (but filled a hole;)).

Maybe if you're having less starchy carbs, you can increase fruit/root veg intake instead?

Anyway, not long to go, so get planning!
 
Yes as Laura just listed, there are lots of alternatives for Wheat. Whole wheat is the carb of choice according to Dr dukan, but if rice suits you better than pasta then that's not a problem s far as I can see! It will just allow you to gradually get nearer 'normal', which means 'with carbs', whatever the carbs may be, though starchy ones should come back into it too. Pulses are my personal favourite too, so I sometimes have a portion of lentils or chick peas in my lunchtime salad instead of my bread ration. And I have just discovered quinoa, love the stuff! and it's supposed to be super healthy ;-)
 
mmm see i can survive on rice , couscous is one i love ...but i can take it or leave it with pasta ...my kids are not pasta fans either so we dont have a lot of it in the house ....
rice cakes is a good one as is chick peas ....will sit down and have a good read before i move on to it !!!!
potatoe wise i dont want to get back to having it every day like i did ....maybe the odd jacket spud and as conso is a trial of the body i will be able to see what works
I think to be honest I am not looking forward to hunger pains , as thats what makes me reach for the biscuit tin !!!!

As you and me both know where food comes into play some of us will never do "normal"

im just going to think rice instead of pasta that and no bread lol
