Scrumpers diary the revenge !!!!

At least it won't be school holidays here, I don't think, when you're over (will it be in the UK incidentally?). My trick to avoid queues is to study the map before going in, go IMMEDIATELY to whichever big rides you fancy and get a fast pass for another time if there's a queue, and only then meander and browse (unlike yours truly who cheerfully settled for breakfast at the first cafe in Main Street the first time she went while all the queues were building up...).

Attractions with fast pass:
  • Big thunder mountain (Disneyland park)
  • Indiana Jones et le temple du péril (Disneyland park)
  • Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast (Disneyland park)
  • Space mountain (Disneyland park)
  • Stars Tour (Disneyland park)
  • Peter Pan’s Flight (Disneyland park)
  • La Tour de la Terreur (Walt Disney studios)
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster avec Aerosmith (Walt Disney studios)
  • Les Tapis Volants (Walt Disney studios)

Hope you're fully recovered, Tania!

The queues at Disney are the main reason I don't want to go .

Or you could try a reversal strategy by rushing over to the other side of the park and starting from there, working your way back. I haven't been to EuroDisney for many years, but the queues can be much shorter towards the end of the day. We were able to ride on Oblivion twice in a row with barely a wait during the late afternoon at Alton Towers.

The first time I went - in the mid summer - I queued for hours. For the rides. For the loo. For a drink. For the loo again...

But since then, never had a problem. Just stick to the baby rides like me and there aren't many queues...

"dah dah dah dah dah it's a small world..." Love it!

Would you believe that I absolutely love the terrifying rides for older kids/adults, but a couple of the kiddies' ones at Alton Towers scared the heck out of me!

My little niece was smiling away, enjoying herself, and I was clinging on for dear life with white knuckles. I think it may have had something to do with adult-sized bodies not fitting in so well to the seats, though. (Well, that's my excuse anyway.)

i love its a small world lol cant wait to take my youngest on it !!!!
Last time we went it was just in term time , this time it will be 2 weeks before the easter break so i am hoping it will be quieter , thought the cheap deal at the moment may say different !!!

anyway been busy busy today doing computer course 3 hrs arghhhhh
then running around bits and pieces so just sat down really !! got to de nit the girls again tonight drives me mad !!
food today
B galette and poached egg
L jelly and chicken
D steak and prawns and egg

ooh what cheap deal is that ? I could be tempted to another disney trip :).. a small world was closed when we went :( humbug

second the reversal idea...go around counter clockwise.... it was so much quicker :) x

omg small world closed thats unforgivable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had to have 2 rooms as there were 5 of us , but under 12s free so we have 3 nights and 4 days in the parks also included ferry crossings was 510.00 which i thought was great would of been 175 less if it had been one room ..........
as we have 2 days in each im not too worried will pick all the rides we all want to do and head for them first , then the thrill seakers can go with their dad to those rides and i will stay with my feet firmly on the ground !!!!

ok morning all cleaning day today , not happy with the scales , but thats for tomorrow to whine about .......
bGalette and egg
L chicken and steak
D roast beef

You'll have to let me know how it goes, Tan - in great detail. This is the year we're going (if we're going at all), not booked but need to start planning (will wait until you're back).

Good luck with the cleaning - don't worry about the scales - PP day takes off loads!

and don't forget (you heathens;)) that there's a beautiful city quite close by...

I really love that ride... I'd actually like to be alone on that little train, and have it break down, so that I can get out and have a little wander around... there's soooo much to take in and look at :D
