Secret to shaping up

Donzy lol glad you got your core done. Can relate to moving along the floor as well :)

Morning Swingers - just having breakfast. My date with Wk3 Cardio is about 10.30. I much prefer core and resistance over cardio. Glad I do it on a Sunday so I can be traumatised on the sofa for the rest of the day in comfort! Catch ya later for an update. :)

Sorry swingers but I have been unfaithful (what an oxy-moron). I have just experienced my first ever Zumba "class". My goodness it was quite tough and that was on easy. You would never have thought that I did ballet for 16 years, I looked like I was having an epileptic fit! The girls must have heard me thumping about and came downstairs to join in. The little blighters did better than me! Have to say that I think I very well may try and get to a Zumba class twice a week for the inbetweeny days of our beloved Mr.Cheesey. I'd love to see Mr.Cheesey do Zumba!! I bet his hip movements would be second to none with all of his thrusting .. (ooer calm down!!)

And may I ask, has anyone else noticed his *ahem* wedding tackle is quite prominent in those shorts he's wearing on certain exercises? Me thinks they weren't the best choice! :ashamed0005:

Core 3 done! Anyone else find they end up moving down the living room doing the hip thrust and crunch, i'm light a slow train!!! Lol sounds like a breakfast cereal! X

I always find this with the hip thrusts and wundscreen wipers lol

Well have given myself a good talking to and finally done cardio 4 with my shiny new 7.5 kg bell. It was like week 1 all over again! Managed to do nearly all with heavier bell apart from shoulder press and bell hold( which I still struggle to do with my 5kg!!)

I'm completely knackered but proud of myself :)

Enjoy cardio 3 sue!!

Lol numnum I haven't noticed but I'll keep my eyes peeled next time lol

Seriously though men in clingy shorts gives me the boke!!!

Zumba is fun I used to go!

I've never looked *blush* will now though hehe

You know i am going to have to do the kettleworx programme again to check this out lol - I never noticed

At least if the little ones do zumba it might tire them out a little, sounds like a good fun time with them :)

Yeah Chick, well done doing it with your 7.5 :) Its a good start only having problems with a couple of exercises

Sue have fun with cardio :) I have a great relationship with my couch after a swing lol

Doing Week 3 Resistance later...gonna have to pay more attention as I hadn't noticed Ryan's shorts' issues either! ;)

Wk3 Cardio done. I only managed the warm up with my 7.5kg and then returned to my trusty 5kg. The 3kg came out for the gunslingers so I could manage to do both sets fully. Even then my arm was wobbly towards the end. Think I'd have probably shot myself in the foot if it was a real gun!! :D

I haven't noticed Mr C's tackle. I'm normally just concentrating on remembering to breath! Will have a proper look on Tuesday with core. Hope "Little Ryan" doesn't pop out to say hello on some of those core exercises!! :9529:

Right well this "machine" is going to lounge around for the rest of the day. Had a huge clothes clear out yesterday. If it's too big, it's going. Found it a mixture of liberating and depressing. It's clear with so many items that they weren't "me" but I had only bought them because they fit. Well they are now in black bags ready for the charity shop or ebay. I have also discovered black strappy vest tops have multiplied in my drawers! Still what's good there is that I can wear them for my bells! :)

Sorry I've rambled on.

Haha Mr cheesy knows how to keep us going back for more :)

Biggy have fun with resistance later, dont forget you got to do the moves and not just be staring ... well you know where lol

Sue I still cannot do the gunslingers on a heavy weight, so its good you have the 3 to keep up with it. Hope you enjoy your relaxing sunday
I know about the clearing of old clothes, have done it a few times now :) getting rid of the big stuff will stop you from getting complacent and putting a few lbs on. Most of my tops resembled tents, no shape whatsoever, and always had to be long enough to cover my bum! I do regret not keeping one bit of clothing, altho I still have that blue dress in my before pic - haha that used to be so tight under the bust, the only place it was fitted. Might have a try on later :)

Well I have just had a swing, followed by an abs workout and intend to have another session later, only split it because i made myself a syn free icecream sundae, and it was ready in 15 mins so bells on hold while i have my delicious treat :)

Syn free sundae?! Do share!!! Enjoy :)

I bought a slush mug and throw in a muller yog to freeze, defrosted 6 strawberries, mashed with sweetener, then pour over the frozen yog. I quite enjoy it as not a big fruit fan so gets me eating it, and frozen mullers are sooo much nicer than from the fridge :)

Yeah, it would seem that my brain can't cope with more than one task at once because I was so busy concentrating on my breathing etc. that I didn't notice anything in the shorts department. I forgot to look until half way through. I'll keep my eyes peeled next time.

Good job on clearing out your wardrobe, Sue. I think it needs to be done once in a while; I did a bit yesterday too. Every dog has its day. And some of the items in my wardrobe were right mutts!

Someone gave me a copy of Iron Core Vol 1 and 2. I looked at Vol 1 once before but I found it longer and less pacey than kettleworx so never really bothered with it. Had a look and go at Vol 2 today though and thought it was very good. It had those deck moves in it. The first time I saw one, I was thinking I would never be able to do even one. But i managed all 3 sets of 10. Mind you, I don't think I was supposed to look doing them. It was not very graceful.

Now, the one exercise I have never been able to do in my life is a push-up. I am going to persevere though and my long-time aim will be to do 5.

FITITUDE, innit?!

Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday x

Haha that's most probably why I have never noticed, too busy concentrating on doing the move
I have iron core vol 1, enjoyed it, but found it a bit slow, have lent it out and had some good feedback on it, I just didn't like the minute rests between each move, and it's so different from Mr Cheesys way of doing things lol

What are the deck moves, sounds interesting, and well done for doing all three sets.

I never used to be able to do a push up, but can now, so know you will :)

Are you all insinuating that I am not working hard enough or concentrating? How very dare you!!!! I just have accute observation skills...

We believe you numnum ;)

Kron that dessert you made sounds yummy :)

Boooo there's no bank holiday in Scotland tomorrow! But hope you all enjoy!

We expect you to be on the ball and have eyes in the back of your head with your bunch of little ones :)
I'm just hoping everyone isn't too distracted now lol

Kron, the "deck" move is where you lie down holding the kettlebell with a bell grip, explode legs in the air and then spring straight back up to standing! It sounds harder than it is. By holding the bell out in front, it helps lift you up.

Are you superwoman??? I think I would tear in two if I attempted such a move. Sitting up from the floor exercises is hard enough!!
