Sharon's Before 50 Plan

Hotel Condesa de la Bahia - looks great. It's all inclusive which can be dangerous territory hey :) but will try and do damage limitation, especially as we're in France the week before. Will come around soon enough for sure. We're going to have lunch out today at one of our local little harbours but I'll be making healthy choices onthe menu :). Majorca sounds lovely from what you've said Moira. Clothes wise seasonal clothes are changing so a bit harder to pick up things last min as if I buy too soon they may be too big, will sort something out :)

Lunch out at a harbour sounds fabulous - you're so lucky to live in a lovely area! There's some nice countryside in Staffs where I live, of course, but it's not the same as being on the coast. :) xx

Tracy that's a really lovely pic of you and hubby :). Glad up you had a lovely lunch - looking fwd to mine today. Going to be hard seeing Becky go off tomorrow and travel to France alone - Exeter to Paris, train from Paris to Reims, overnight in hotel and then try to get into her CRUSE uni room, though they have been rubbish at replying so really hope it all goes smoothly. Anxious mum :). Exciting for her though. End of January all change for her again as she's then down to new uni Toledo, Spain, so new starts all over again. Incredibly proud of her but big steps for her. Hence nothing is keeping me away from her 21 st in Oct plus it's a great excuse for a trip :)

Thank you, Sharon! Gosh, I can't imagine what it must be like waving your "little girl" off to go and live abroad, I don't want to think that far ahead with Kathryn, lol. But I'm sure your daughter will have a fantastic time and it'll be a great life experience for her. Enjoy your lovely lunch! :) xx

Hi All I had a lovely lunch out with my daughter yesterday, little naughty as had moules marinier with plain bread but didn't eat all the sauce. She's on her way to France now and should nearly be at Reims now. I had a text from her from Paris earlier. Didn't stay to class tonight as been a shattering few days and wanted to chill, but 2.5 lbs off so chuffed with that. 6 more weigh ins before next holiday :)

Hello Aqua, congratulations on your super weight loss result, just in time for your jollie too!

Today has been a super temptation day I survived however but if you get chance you gotta check out the demons I was battling with on my diary, the BF said he's extremely proud of me, isn't that sweet, its my birthday tomorrow so I wanted to be good today and then I can have a nice pudding or cake then. I've too many dinner & lunch dates before weigh in 5 this week. Xx

Hi Cookie - it's great that the BF is so supportive hey :). Happy Birthday x You've been doing amazingly well, not always easy with socials and things and sometimes just because of an overwhelming urge to eat something. At work yesterday someone put some really lush iced cupcakes in the kitchen for all - resisted though but they looked so yum!

I've heard from my daughter who successfully arrived Thurs to her hotel and yesterday got into her uni accommodation, also managed trips to some local supermarkets and kitted herself out with some uni room essentials - she met up with fellow Kent uni student so all going well. So all fine from here - I'm a relieved Mum! :) Six weeks of SW halo for me to see what I can shift before we go out to see her now - really looking fwd to our holiday.

Hi All. Well diet wise things have been easy going. Did the Malaysian chicken and red pepper curry last night and we're having a treat and having steak with homemade wedges, mushrooms, sweetcorn mange tout and grilled tomato later. I've had a couple of glasses of wine this weekend but all counted in. Tried on a couple of skirts I was thinking of taking to Majorca and had quite a shock at how big they are! Not wearable but quite funny too to think that they fit me before! Realising that I don't have many hot weather clothes, popped to Truro and it's all winter stuff. Catalogue shorts are fine if you area skinny 8/10 but not when you are more an 18 still on the bottom - I think, 16/18 on top, but I could be wrong. Anyhow already ordered swimwear from my catalogue so might have to get a couple of cheap maxi dresses on eBay or something as don't want to go mad with so much still to lose, so pleased re the weight loss but frustrated re the clothes if that makes sense :)

Hey Aqua, holiday clothes shopping is tricky this time of year but there's still some summer wear in the sales on line so hopefully you'll get a couple of bits but you can always buy things abroad. As your still losing weight keep it cheap for now as you'll want new stuff next year anyway. France & Andalucia sound wonderful. Xx

Just found this on Ebay for £23 and can return if it's not right so ordered. I ordered some sale swimwear from catalogue too so can return that too if it doesn't fit right. Ordered some reduced board shorts too but if they don't look right they're going back! Showed hubby skirt that is way too big which really highlights just how much weight has gone which surprised him too when he could see. Fingers crossed these few things are ok to top up things I can take and yup definitely need to keep it cheap and just enough with another three stone to go. Here's hoping! Just booked France ferry crossing, booked car parking for Bristol airport, registered passports for Majorca hols and currently booking Bristol overnight accommodation before we fly. Just need to book Reims, France hotel then :). Woop.

Oh Aqua, that dress is beautiful! Fingers crossed it fits well & comfortable to wear. Clothes aside your almost good to go x

It's great trying on old clothes that are way too big, isn't it?! I intend to keep my size 30 trousers forever - trying them on now is a real hoot! ;) xx
