Sharon's Before 50 Plan

Thanks girls. Hoping they will be ok. Tracy I can imagine with your weight loss they must be massive on you now but worth keeping a pair as a reminder hey :) x. And yes was quite funny just my wardrobe then didn't have enough holiday stuff lol

Hmm well board shorts arrived and are too small - can't win can I and when things make you feel fat it doesn't help hey . The tankini is a possibility at least though I have another one arriving Weds so will wait to decide. Think I need to start some exercise at some point as so don't like what I see in the mirror at the mo. tankini same make as board shorts fits fine, crazy hey. Feeling decidedly fat lol off to make Mexican maggi chicken for tea.

Oh clothes sizes are ridiculously inconsistent, just ignore it! I've got several pairs of 16s trousers/jeans that are loose on me, but when I tried on a pair of 14s stretchy jeggings the other day I couldn't pull them up - go figure, lol. :) xx

You get a bit of room in sizes at certain shops like Dotty P's & Wallis, but quite small in River Island and Top Shop - its weird.

Definitely crazy Tasha and gives you a bit up if roller coaster if emotions hey. Dresses have arrived and they at least are ok for cheap dresses - will help towards holiday clothes whilst I"m losing weight (a) because there's nothing in the shops and (b) cos I can't see the point in spending loads when they're not going to fit in a few months - shame they're nylon like material though as might be a bit hot - on the plus side won't crease! Feeling rather blobby today as monthly to boot - hey ho, at least I'm on plan - hope to be a bit lighter by the time I go, every little helps :)

Glad the dresses fit, and boo to the monthly cycle I felt all emotional on the last cycle, the woes of being a woman!

Shame the buckle on one of the dresses is plastic, but I guess it was cheap, if it breaks I'll have to improvise but it does look nice on and helps with the holiday. I also bought swimwear in Sainsbury's earlier that was reduced so have a couple now though this is bikini top and high waist bottoms - feel really blobby at mo but hubby reckons it doesn't look too bad - could always put cheap cami top over it - need to exercise, mind monthly doesn't help as muscles do their own thing then and relaxes everything out! But again it was cheap :) feeling decidedly fat right now but hubby told me off for saying that earlier and said and look how far I've come - and yes I know how loose things are, inches lost etc. Loads to go though but determined to do it, just hope my shape comes back better, hmm exercise lol. Homemade burgers with babybel light in centre and wedges for dinner tonight yum yum

Ah Aqua, I'm so pleased your hubby is very supportive and telling you that your not fat! We all have those feel fat days but you've done so well. I know how how you feel but my sister says I should celebrate the parts of my body that I do like. Today I like the way my boobs look in my new smaller bra!
What do you like today? Xx

Sounds like you are having a bit of a one today Sharon! You have come so far and done amazingly well, we all have bad days but just remember that the process is slow but well worth it and the right way to loose it!!! I felt exactly like you re hols clothes I didnt want to spend on new as I still wanted to drop another dress size. I did manage with what I had but threw away a bikini at the end of the hols as it was too big on tbe cup. P.S. your hubby sounds like great support x

Hubby is a great support, I've already had to get rid of bras that were too big so can relate to you on that one. Cookie with you re the bust lol but keep saying to hubby to say goodbye as they are shrinking lol. Will get there in the end just having a 'fat day" :) blame my monthly grr lol WI tomorrow - still determined. Pass a martini Geordie :)

Oh no, hope you feel better soon, its the star week is it? Mine last week was awful headache, tummy ache, back ache and felt really low. I've not felt like that on my monthly for over a year don't know why it was so bad. Felt like had a balloon in my tummy.
Rest up you might feel better later on xx

Hi Girls. Well off work today due to viral thingy. Hubby was great last night and cooked SW friendly dinner, pork loin chops sprinkled with Bramwells spacey powder mix from Aldi, fry light roast potatoes and veg. I've had forest fruits, banana, grapes, very low fat fromage frais and tbsp honey for brekkie. Determined not going to be off plan, meatball pasta bake for dinner tonight. Judging by my scales I reckon I would have been 1-1.5 lbs down had I been well enough to weigh but will just carry on and see what weigh in shows next Thurs. Loaded a new photo app on iPad so been playing around with some photos this am. I may have quite a way to go but surprising when you compare the difference you can see. Decided to give myself a kick up the butt after my 'fat day' lol
