Sharon's Before 50 Plan

It's bound to be the monthly that caused it Sharon! I know how you feel though, sometimes if we tell ourselves that we will probably have a "gain" week because we know we probably will, we still really want the "wow that's a bonus" loss when we get weighed! Bit like buying a lottery ticket really! :D I hope you don't feel too disheartened, you have done so well in such a short time and next week you will probably have a nice big loss to make up for it! The stew sounds lovely, must look up the recipe for that!

It's delicious and a hit with the whole family. I'm ok - I've not dipped into Xmas goodies YET lol. Will keep going around the Xmas days where I do plan to enjoy some treats. A loss would have been nice before Xmas but I guess my lottery ticket didn't come up :). Frustrating when others were really naughty and lost but hey that's life.

Hello! Aqua I can't believe you gained too! I didn't think we did bad on our foods at all so it must be our monthly cycle, its been making me sweat like a beast at bedtime and i just feel swollen up and heavy. I'm sorry about the gain all the same, I still want to enjoy Christmas but I'm going to aim to stick to plan up until Christmas Day and then see what happens. What's your plan over Christmas? Xxx
Hi Cookie. Frustrating isn't it! I plan on having what I want Xmas Day. Xmas Eve having a non SW friendly curry unless I count the sauce and will prob have a glass of wine. Prob wont be that bad actually on Xmas Eve. Boxing Day I'm going to get us salmon, it's just hubby and me. I've bought syllabub for pudding as it's low syn. Probs will have some alcohol. So naughty and good mix to damage limit I think - or at least that's the current plan and like you being good up until. This Sunday we're eating out for our wedding anniversary but I shall make a wise choice. I just hope the roses chocolates don't wrestle me to the floor and have their wicked way with me against my will :)

Glad you are ok :) Some of those who were really naughty may get a nasty shock later on though, it has a habit of sneaking up on you when you least expect it ;)

Well at least you all have been weighed. I duffed it this week. Havent been really evil with food but of course the dreaded alcohol has put in an appearance. Might WI tomorrow and see how I am doing. I am try ing to be good. Will have what I want on Christmas eve and Christmas day, I have asked for a box of jelly babies as a treat and no chocolates but there will still be sweets in the house!

I posted this for you in your page :) Think we all have the same sort of coping strategies in mind at the mo for Xmas whilst still having some treats and enjoying the days and embrace the 'tis the season to be jolly' hic lol.

I love that picture, how's your fish pie tea? I. Stuffed after having spaghetti bolognaise and then scan bran cake with fruit & yogurt, whilst Brett ate an entire box of maltesers to himself, he didn't offer me any! I was surprised but glad as I think I'd have had a few but I'm being good today.

Is that you finished for Christmas now or are you in next week? Xxx

Fish pie was yummy, had it with fresh carrots and brocolli. It was v filling. Off for Xmas and New Year. Nails being done tomorrow, office collection, wrapping and tidying. Just need to pick up veg early Mon am and done. Planned Iceland lamb chops in mint gravy for hubby and me tomorrow - just realised each chop is 5 syns!!! . Thought they'd be free :(

5 syns! I think I'd give them both to the hubby unless you've got the syns to spare, we've got loads of bolognaise left but Brett's on about us going out for tea tomorrow night. Thing is I'm in work until 5, were going to Liverpool to see a band called Cast, not sure who they are really, so I'm not sure if we've got time to eat out and I want to be good but I'll see what happens.

I tried the tesco pulled pork you recommended it was lovely, I bought a huge shoulder today to cook for new year or in between as Brett loved it too, mmm xxx

Yup 5 syns each when you're planning on having two is harsh lol. Mind I've only had 3.5 syns today. Needless to say I won't buy them again. The pulled pork is lush and syn free YAY - going to pick one up for hubby and me for Mon as we're home alone again - kids are all out to eat. Still resisting Xmas goodies but with monthly imminent I've had extra fruit today and had to exercise choice power cos I just wanted to eat grr :) Nails will be the nice sparkly red I've had before with snowflakes on ring fingers. Your weekend sounds fun Cookie.

Decided to go with having the Iceland lamb chops with rosemary and mint gravy on as it's what I had in but can't say I'd recommend wasting 10 syns on them to anyone else, served with broccoli, carrots and green beans, Had forest fruits, grapes banana, v low fat fromage frais with drizzle of honey for breakfast, lunch was slice wholemeal toast, egg, bacon, mushroom and tbsp tom sauce. Snacks persimmon x 2 and a mugshot - hungry day as still due on monthly and hubby wasn't in for tea til 8. Puts my syns at 13.5 but that's fine and they were low yesterday - would have been better used for red wine than chops though!

Wedding anniversary tomorrow - have SW friendly cooked brekkie planned, will eat out in evening after picking Becky up from airport but will choose wisely - excited to have her home from France :)

Most of pressies wrapped just a few more to do tomorrow :)
