I know SW inside out and the only major difference I can see between the two diets is that SW makes you have your healthy A's and B's which are all of your dairy products (A's) and your Fibre (b's) as they give you an allowance for them. On ww there's nothing forcing you to have either as you choose what you spend your pro points on. SW is really easy to follow, I'd say that the only downside is that the diet isn't as convenient in the fact that you can't really pick up a ready meal or a sandwich on the go without it costing you heavily out of your syn allowance
I've just remembered the other main difference which I'd forgotten about as I still try to do it on ww to bulk out my meals and that's to make sure you have a 1/3 if your plate as superfree (non starchy veggies). Again on ww, there's nothing forcing you to have fruit or veg if you didn't want it x
