Shazzabir CC Journey to 9st!

Let us know how the phone call goes.

HIIT is hard work but fantastic and if you do it right, you'll see great results. Just not sure that 3 minutes a week is enough for that really lol

Hi Shazz, fingers crossed the phone call is a good one. Yay to running in the morning so you can enjoy tomorrow night. Is it 11 miles you're doing tomorrow? Have a good day xx

Hope it's all good today :)

Hope the results are good Shaz? Let us know.

Great plans for the weekend. No idea why you have gained this week, our bodies are strange things. 2 weeks ago I had exactly the same thing. on Thursday I had lost 2lbs, but on Friday (WI) I had STS!!! Ridiculous.
I wouldn't worry about it though, you are being super healthy right now, so you are doing all the right things. :)

The results came back absolutely fine!!!! So big relief, means I can genuinely kick him up the bum for having a bad diet!!

Well my plans for the w/e have changed. My bro-in-law has a very poorly nan, so we are postponing family celebrations until Sunday, so my sister and Bro can go & visit her.
My head then went into overdrive and thought it will be a wine night tonight, so guess I will be running on Sun morning!!!!

What a relief for you all Shaz. Thats great news. Enjoy your weekend hun! :) xxx

Glad its all good! Hope the nans better soon hun

That's great news, so pleased for you!

Unfortunately Bro in law Nan died last night. He came over tonight with my sister and family. Ended up drinking half a bottle of wine and eating a pizza......!!!!!! Not exactly ideal the day before an 11 mile run! Will be so annoyed with myself if I can't run the distance!!!
At the end of the day he wanted support and cheering up, didn't seem right to be quoting calories and not joining in.
I am not too concerned about the calories consumed, it's the drinking before a run, a rule I very rarely break. :-(
Still what is done is done, I am now drinking my way through my 2nd pint of water, with a 3rd lined up.

Sorry to hear the sad news Shaz.

Fingers are crossed you are fine in the morning for your run. :)

Sorry to hear that chick

Thanks guys, your comments are appreciated :)

I think I should be ok for this mornings run, planning to go in the next 40 mins, should hopefully make it back before the rain comes down!
My plan is to come home, eat and watch the London marathon while I recover. I cannot image what the pain / mental battle must be like running a marathon. I know how hard I find a half marathon and that's only half way!!! I take my hat off to any marathon runner. :)

So sorry to hear about his nan. Can completely understand why you forgot about calories and just tried to have a good, or as much as it could be, evening with him. If you don't run the full distance, that's ok, just do your best.

I managed a painful 10 mile run. That will teach me to drink the day before!!!
I am ok with just 10 miles, as that was my original scheduled run, I increased it to 11 miles as I didn't do my lunchtime run on Tuesday.

Well that was my last long run before my race in two weeks, so hopefully I have put in enough training to beat the Silverstone time of 2:22:42

Have been sat on my bum watching the marathon most of the day!!
Is it me, or do the majority of runners look great crossing the line???? They are making it look easy!!

Its like 26 miles isn't it? That must be painful!
