Shazzabir CC Journey to 9st!

How exciting shaz! Well done for not drinking last night, looks like it will pay off. I can't believe how close go goal you are.

Sounds like this plan is really working for you. Xx

Well done! You're so close to goal now, that's great! It's fab how you feel too isn't it after not drinking. Alcohol is fab when you're drinking but the after effects are shocking! xx

Go for it Lauren!!!! I'm sure you won't regret it. I didn't follow the food plan, just the rules. I still stick to 1200 cals, just make sure I hit 30g of fibre, no carbs for my evening meal and drink water with each meal. Weight wise, it's so motivating as you see a loss everytime you step on the scales :)

Yes alcohol really is evil.....lol. I don't really know why I drink, think it is just a habit I have got into. I always have a drink at a w/e and socially it is also expected. I am seriously considering giving it up, but not sure I would have the will power. I would certainly feel amazing if I did.

I've ordered it from amazon, just have to wait for it to arrive now! Excited to read it. I'm confused with calories, one minute I decide on 1200, the next 1500, then 800.. It's so confusing! Think I'll jump on the 1200 bandwagon though, seems like most people lose well on that.

Brilliant Lauren!!
Yeah 1200 seems a good place to start. If you need any advice you know where I am :)
The book explains what the benefits are with each rule he sets, so you can understand why you are making the change.
If I was to stick to the plan all week, then I would expect to lose 3-4lb. So far since Tues I have lost 2.75lbs and I'm the lowest I have ever been. The good thing is if you have a bad w/e it only takes a day or so and your back on plan and losing again. Good luck!! :)

I can't wait for the book to get here now! It says arrival date is Thursday or Friday, but hoping it gets here sooner. Hopefully I'll be able to follow each rule, and if I could lose 3lb-4lb a week I'd be ecstatic! Thank you :)

Last night was but of a struggle not having wine, but so pleased I didn't have any. Feeling energetic and looking forward to my run. O/H is suffering with a hangover, lol.
Aiming to run 10 miles, but slightly concerned if I can last that long without needing the toilet, as I drink so much water now!!!!
Well best get myself organised :)

Mmmmmnmnn...!! Slight problem, was desperate for the toilet at mile 2!!!! I tried to ignore it, but I got to mile 6 and had to stop. Wasn't happy, but I didn't really have a choice. Will need to cut back on the fluids the day before my w/e run. Hopefully that will prevent it happening again.

If my legs feel ok, then will do 4 miles in the morning to make up for it.

Claire: I have a 10k in London on 8th July and then Great North in September. That's me finished for the year then. :-(

Were you outside or indoors? On my long runs I always run along the promenade because there are plenty of loos.

Ah yes, it that the British 10k? I've not got anything until September as can't find anything!!

I was outside today. It's never really been a problem before, but now I have changed my diet plan I drink around 3 litres of water, plus several tea and coffees a day.
Yes British 10k. Think this might be my only 10k race though, I am struggling a bit with motivation, as its not very challenging for me. I know if I had a half marathon coming up I would be motivated and focused to be doing 10-12 miles. Hopefully once the 10k is done my focus will come back.

That's the downside to all the water! Maybe try go pee before hand or did you do that already?

Not quite the morning I had planned. I got up at 4am to get ready for my run, to then see my daughter awake at her door. Needless to say the run did not happen!! Oh well, will try again tonight or 2moro morning.

The good news is I survived a whole w/e without alcohol, so quite proud of myself for that. There were moments when I struggled, but I stayed strong.

Didn't get the chance to weigh in this morning, but if I weigh 2moro then it's a full week on the plan. My plan is still to be at goal by this time next week. Fingers crossed!!!!

Well done for avoiding the dreaded alcohol. You should be very proud of yourself. Sometimes I don't think people realise what a big deal it is. I have exactly the same thing with chocolate. If I go 3 days without any I fell positivley angelic. 4 weeks of exante will be interesting! LOL

Well done Shaz xxx

Just a quick update....... Only 1.25lb to go until I hit goal!!!!!!! This is the closest I have ever got!!

My first proper week on the plan gave me a 3.75lb loss, so very pleased with that!!
I have a miniature bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge, ready for when I FINALLY hit goal!!!! I would so love to be drinking it Friday night :)

I have had a really bad headache that last two days, so not done any running. Feeling better today though, so going on the treadmill shortly. I hate not exercising, but not much can be done with a headache.
Still managed to read though, cannot put down 50 shades of Grey!!!!

I can't believe how close you are shaz. You absolutely should have a bottle of champers in the fridge, this is such an achievement!

Sorry about the Mr. Grey addiction. It happens pretty quickly and there is not much you can do about it. Lol enjoy! Xxx

Not quite at goal.......3/4lb to go!!!! Hopefully be there this time 2moro!!!

My last day at work today for a week :)
