Sick of carrying 2 hitch hikers about, so this is my diary

Oh forgot, had the grandbabies here tonight, they went Trick or treating with Kirsty n Mark ...well Kia and Jack did ...they were hilarious and came back with 2 massive bags full of sweets, money and drinks lol xxx

Kia on the left and Jack on the right xx

What happened to staying in on hallow'een to make girl soup? :8855:

Jack looks really cute - Kia looks a bit scary, and quite grown up too!

Glad your weekend went well and that you all got stuck in with the talking - was just thinking on how my family has never been like that... maybe that's why I went off the rails as a teen  Should try and take a leaf out of your book with my own kids I reckon, though it seems like it might be difficult to do at first :)

Its our granddaughter's birthday today and she is 9, all the grandchildren gets new outfits every year and Emma our daughter paints all their faces, we all went trick and treating tonight hubby stayed in with our son in law, it is the first time I have gone with then tonight was too big and felt self conscious all the other times, really enjoyed myself, been talked into getting an outfit to wear for next year :giggle:xx

Aww - glad you enjoyed yourself. Will look forward to your costume pics next year too :) xxxx

Morning all, not got a lot of time today, have to make food for the buffet night tonight and unlike me I have only just decided what to take with me, had to do one for Kirsty too as she didn't have time last night and is working till 6.30pm tonight. So have decided to go don the easy route and make syn free rice pudding with golden syrup and natural yoghurt on Kirsty's behalf and for me it's the Spicy sausage spaghetti, really easy to make.
Hope everyone's having a great day, will pop back later if I get a chance, if not see you all tonight xxx

Oh and Jane they don't get their money making ideas from me lol no they get that from their Auntie Kirsty, I remember her doing exactly the same things at her age lol xxxxx

My son's more like me, spends it as soon as it's in his pocket lol I tried doing the keep your room tidy and you'll get £2.50 every saturday but he didn't seem that bothered. I ended up buying some cheapy books and bits off ebay so he gets a 'surprise' instead on saturdays if his room is tidy now - works a treat :D

Good luck for tonight hun, fingers crossed a big chunk if not all of that gain has boogered off this week :D

Can I 'ave the rice pud and pasta recipes off you when you have chance, pretty please :) xxxx

think we should all head for your class tonight :D

glad your weekend went well, its good to talk isn't it.:D

good luck with the weighin xx

Welcome to come along anytime you like sweetie, as a yummy night tonight lots of really gorgeous stuff to taste, definitely a few ideas for Christmas time.
Love talking, it could have gone the other way lots of deep stuff to discuss but we're women so much more adept than men at sorting our differences without getting into a punch up lol xx

Yes lets all go to Lilys class tonight and then I'll come back home with you and wash up, vac and make you a cuppa. So that's a couple of quid earned and a nice free meal :D

Ah but will I have to tax you on that couple of quid seeing as it's a second job :8855: ....but you can pop by for a free meal any time you like if it doesn't have to be declared as a perk :giggle: xxxxx

Syn Free Rice Pudding

1 pint of Cold water
1/2 Mug Pudding Rice
Sweetener to taste
Nutmeg (optional)
2 tsp Vanilla flavouring (optional)
Muller Light Yoghurt of choice
or 2 tbsp fat free yoghurt and honey, jam, golden syrup or stewed apple (don’t forget syns)

Put cold water into a saucepan. Add rice and all other ingredients except the yoghurt. Cook for approximately 20 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool (put it in fridge if you like it really cold). When it has really cooled add the yoghurt.

Can be eaten hot or cold

The rice is syn free unless you sweeten with:
1 Level Tbsp Jam = 2 syns
1 Level Tbsp Honey = 2.5 syns
1 Level Tbsp Golden Syrup = 2 syns
100g of cooked eating apples =2.5 syns
100g cooking apples stewed = 1.5 syns

I made 2 lots of double this amount tonight and added 2 tbsps of Honey to one = 5 syns and 2 tbsp golden syrup to the other = 4 syns for the whole lot ...oh and I found I didn't like it with nutmeg but added mixed spice instead and it was delicious xxx

Spicy sausage spaghetti
Ingredients:
8 Morrisons 60% fat free Cumberland sausages
150g mushrooms chopped
2 cloves garlic crushed
½ -1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp sweetener
1 tsp heach of chinese five spice, basil, parsley, paprika.
680g passata
Linguine (as much as you feel comfy with, I usually do about 50-75g per person )
Fry Light (FL)
----------------------------------------------------------------
Skin sausages and cut into 4-6 and roll into balls. Heat a pan and spray with FL , cook sausage balls and then remove to a plate. Add mushrooms and garlic to the pan and cook for 5 mins. Add chilli, sweetener and passata , stir and simmer for 10 mins. Return sausages to the pan and cook for 10 mins or until the sauce has reduced, season to taste. Cook your spaghetti as per instructions and serve the sausage meatballs and sauce over the spaghetti.
This works just as well with Rice, Cous Cous and Jacket potatoes.

1 Syn per serving on EE.

Hi everyone,
Decided to spend the whole day yesterday with my feet up (cept for the 2 hours exercising lol...1 hour in the morning and 1 in the evening), have noticed the more I have them down the sorer they get.
I found that after an hour exercising yesterday they were starting to get itchy and were exceptionally sore, so I stopped and decided at 11pm last night to try and do another hour and they were okish.
Am self medicating at the moment, found that 75mg of my steroids were clearing the problem but making me add weight and feel blah....so cut them down to normal, then found that wasn't doing any good so have now increased it to 35mg see how that goes...feet feel a little better today so I am crossing everything :fingerscrossed:, have done just over an hour of wii fit and weights this morning and feel good, will see if I feel up to doing more tonight and am going to attempt to do the big shop tonight too if my feet hold up.
Thanks for all the lovely comments and I will try and catch up as I go
Hope you're all having a fab day xxxxxxxxx

P.S. Jo yes I did get your call and have just checked the number so now I can ring and text you as I feel :giggle: xxxxxx
