Hello Katie, lovely to see you, don't worry hun, life just keeps on rolling don't know where the time is going to, got a very hectic year coming up so need to get myself in shape...lots of big celebrations and I didn't tell you this as I am sworn to secrecy, but Kirsty and Mark have decided to reset the wedding date, not actually finalised a date till they have seen the vicar, but I don't think it will be too much longer, they have been saving like mad since having Harry and have almost enough for the deposit for their house and want to remain here a bit longer to continue saving for furnishings and of course the wedding. It will be a bit less showy than it would have been 2 years ago when they were supposed to get Married, but none the less it'll be classy I have no doubt. Kirsty felt a couple of years ago she was ready to have a baby so chose Harry over her wedding, she is now ready to try for baby number 2 when they get into their house, but would like to be married first...so we most likely will be waving them off and hopefully moving to a smaller property too within the next year or so, so like I said hectic and also like I said a number of big birthdays coming up including my 2 granddaughters turning 13 and 16 within the next couple of months, can't believe they are that old and can't believe I am that old and of course they are huge milestones in their lives so must make a big deal of them.
Oh my don't I go on lol. anyways hun nice to see you will hopefully be on more often as my arm/shoulder get better, take care for now and speak soon xx

Hope everyone is doing well, like I said I have quickly sneaked on here while they are all out and can't nag me, but already I am feeling the ache so must make this brief.
Doctor gave me some new pills Naproxen to help with the shoulder problem, told me I couldn't be on them long as they are not a good mix with the diabetes, well 4 days and I have had enough of them, going back to docs Monday to see what else I can do cos these are unbearable, I already have bad side effects from the Acitretin I take for my Psoriasis and these are just enhancing those side effects, my mouth, lips and tongue are so sore I can barely eat (maybe that's not a bad thing lol) or drink and I seem to constantly have my tongue dangling in a glass of iced water just to relieve it, I am drinking tons more which means I am constantly on the lav and not sleeping, plus to top it all they have given me such bad stomach cramps, really not happy, so I have decided to cease taking them, I did say yesterday I would persevere but after the night I just had, I seriously would sooner have the pain.
Anyways lovelies, I am off to rest before I get caught...oooops I mean before my arm starts to ache more and I have to take more bloody pills lol

I can;t help but giggle at the picture in my head of you with a dud arm sneaking on to minis and trying to type one handed while holding a glass with your tongue in it. question is are you typing with the bad shoulder or holding the glass with it.

Seriously though the tabs sound dreadful and if the sideffects are worse than the problem I'd deffo stop them too. Hope the quack can sort you our tomorrow.

I went back to docs yesterday, we have both agreed for now to lay off the anti inflammatory drugs and just stick with the painkillers and exercises....2 A4 sheets worth that I have to do 4 times a day, they actually make it ache more ...I guess the more it hurts the better its getting, doesn't help with my sleep though lol

Hello Jane, thank you hun I will take care as much as I can but I'm not a sitter so I need to do something, if I am forced to do nothing I tend to get down and feel sorry for myself so need to be doing something, which may or may not hinder my progress lol
It's good to have some time to actually be back on again so I guess every cloud does have a silver lining

The first thing Harry does when he gets to Auntie Kelly's is give Albert a cuddles, so sweet xx

Well I've been left alone again as Kirsty, Mal and Harry have all had to go to Harefield Hospital, Harry has developed a number of allergies that make his skin and especially his face blow up, well after his last visit to the hospital poor little love when his face really blew up badly after eating egg, they checked his heart and detected a murmur, they asked for Harry's GP to confirm it and she did and has sent him to see a heart specialist, they aren't too worried they just want to keep an eye on him and it, so fingers crossed.
So I have put up some rather cute pictures, the first being of Harry telling me off, he gets up every morning and sits and wags his finger at me and has a right go in his jibberish fashion and then picture 2 is of him finding all this absolutely hilarious lol and like I said this is a daily routine of his lol
Picture 3 is of Harry kissing his favourite cousin Albert and then picture 4 is of him cuddling him which is the first thing he does every time he goes there, when he's not there he pulls the photo of Albert off my wall and kisses it, bless him.
Off to weigh in tonight not expecting much of a change but it's hopefully keeping the weight I have lost, off lol

The exercise is painful to say the least, but I really don't want to be sitting about any longer than needs be, so you know me if it needs doing, sod the pain, just get on and do it, hopefully I won't be here any longer than needs be xxx

Hey lovelies, just a quickie before I leave for wi, Harry is fine as we knew he would be, he does have a murmur but docs are not too worried, has to go for check up in Sept.
He is such a happy little boy, such fun to be around bless him lol
Well just completed another hectic week, birthday celebrations that lasted 3 days lol was fun, hopefully I have managed a maintain as I was fairly good, no cake and watched what I ate at the Chinese and buffets so fingers crossed.
Doing my exercises for my shoulder and arm, almost wish I hadn't started them, but I do know it always get worse before it gets better, just wish it would hurry up lol

Lol funny you should say that Lynne, I always walk into group and head for the loos, have done every week since I started SW, a weekly ritual, but for the first time ever I didn't this week, My Consultants dad died last week and the funeral was the day after WI, and he was taking class but very tearful as he had spent the day writing his eulogy and making a video for the wake and I was consoling him and forgot to go loo lol so maybe next week will be better, am having a much better week food wise anyways so :fingerscrossed:

I have been popping on again intermittently since injuring my arm and shoulder, even though I'm not actually supposed to be using the computer too much lol, but hey I am tied down with this, being totally right handed it's not fun sitting twiddling my thumbs and to be honest I can't be asked, as much as I love it normally, to sit and read book after book after book, so I decided while I am unable to do much else I may as well utilise my free time and pop on and see old friends.
It's so nice to be back amongst you all and I will definitely be making more of an effort to get back on here regularly.....although Harry, Albert and the other 3 grandchildren do still take up a huge amount of my time
Hope to be back much more regularly, but right now it's more likely when Mal isn't around and he will nag me to stay off here and rest lol, to be fair if I spend too long on here my arm aches like mad, I keep trying to type left handed but it's no good lol, so I will visit when I can lol xxx:bighug:xxx
