1 litre mixed with juice

Saw my diabetes consultant today .. he gave me a perfectly good reason why i recently gained weight (and maybe why it got stuck) ... ive spent years with very high blood sugars, i was peeing the calories away (wen your body has too much sugar, it gets rid of it anyway it can - sweat, wee etc) ..... now i have my insulin pump and my blood sugars are getting better, im not peeing the calories away, and storing them as fat .. so technically im getting fatter but getting healthier .... now im 'healthier' all i need to do is get rid of excess weight and bam .. its all good! plus he also has put up my throxine as he recons my thYroid has a bug part to play in all this too .... not a bad day atall :p

Oh and the Queen is coming to my hospital on friday :eek: MADNESS !!

How food u not have a hypo doing two hours if exercise. Been up for last two hours wiv my one. Got ketones and high blood. Ketones won't come down. Don't wanna take him to hosp cus they come down when we get there.

I make sure my sugars are higher than normal then put a temporary basal on my pump .... My sugars usually rise during exercise anyway . I always carry sweets one new too, just incase, hope your lil boy is ok, xxxxxxx
 
I never go a & e either, esp wen you can sort it yourselves bless him xxxxxxx

Ooooooh bless him, I had one of those horrible hypos last week ... My whole body was soaked from sweat. I HATE hypos .. After 18 years, im still never use to them xxx
