This always happens, it happened on my birthday only a few of my friends came it was mostly my boyfriends friends, it annoys me as I always make the effort I think just remember who is making the effort and stuff the rest of them and make sure you have a bloody good time

Yeah thats happened on a few of my bdays too. Ppl are quick to forget you aren't they? I always say, out of sight, out of mind ..... Your right tho, its who makes the effort that counts xxx

Hey hunny, just want to give you a mahoosive hug and tell you that I completely get the 'friend' thing it's a **** but I reckon your gonna have a fab hen do and your work colleagues will let their hair down and you'll have an awesome night together.

It's really got to me today the whole 'friend' thing coz my little 4 year old daughter was devastated today when I picked her up from Pre school coz she hasn't been invited to one of her friends birthday party. She was sooo upset, she's normally quite resilient and things don't bother her but I saw her friends coming out with their invites expecting her to have one but her little face she was inconsolable I was in tears too coz it just reminded me of when I was that age and similar things happening to me then and now I think 'what's wrong with me' 'why don't I get invited to things' it's the last thing I want for her I've decided to try and get her to have lots of friends.

I think your friends and work colleagues are lucky to be going out with you, enjoy.xxx

Ohhhhhh bless her heart Tracy ........ thats horrid that people are doing that at such a young age ... it sounds like me tho, i was always the one left out in school, girls use to ask the teacher if they can help her so they didnt have to hang out with me. I dont no what people must think of me?? i no your little girl doesnt understand but she doesnt need to be around horrible little children like that, i blame the parents tbh .... atleast your bringing your child up to be caring and thoughtful of others ...

You are a lovely person and don't feel embarrassed you should feel proud of yourself your having a hen do and you'll enjoy it and think **** the rest of them.

I didn't have a hen do coz I didn't have anyone to invite but we got married on the Friday just the two of us then had a night in a posh hotel then on the Saturday night we had a casual party with a buffet and hired a juke box so people could choose their own music but the only people from my side of the family who came were my mum and dad, no one else came, no aunts, uncles cousins or friends and when people asked me who my family were I just pointed at my parents and said them. I don't care now that no one came we had a fab time and I wouldn't change 1 thing that we did.

Although I hate not having anyone to turn to and to talk to I just get on with it, people tell me I'm hard faced but I just say 'well do you blame me" it's how I have to be. Selfish people only care about themselves and it's sad but you can feel good that your not selfish and you have all the time in the world for others. I can see that coz you've listened to me enough and all those patients you care for your a star and we love you.xxx

I know I don't co tribute often to this site ... But I feel I have to this morning as you ate talking about friends .... I can sooooo identify with everything your saying .... I have no friends either ... In fact I don't ho out on work do's either ...
I have 4 friends who I know if I was in strife they would help me .. But on a day to day basis they never bother with me .. Social life zero :-(
I'm a bubbly smiley person too and can never understand why people font like me ... And wonder why I'm bothering to lose weight as being thinner won't gain me any more friends ....

AWWWHHHHHHH !! well i dont really weigh myself much, im pretty much maintaining but doing 1300 cals on mfp ... it does me nicely as i get my 3 meals n treats everyday n i can eat what i want hope your well honey xxxxx

Riiiight im back to 1200 cals a day ....... i wanna slim down before my hen party n wedding ... i no ive no reason to be slimmer for anyone but hey it makes me feel better ... me n the fella are havin a date night tonight, cinema n tea we never get to do this so im quite excited ... then as of tomorrow i belong to the NHS for SEVEN whole night shifts .... so tomorrow itll be ROLL ON MONDAY LOL .... depressin or what ?!! xxx
