Skulldilocks Food diary

Morning all, its D day. I'm not expecting much. Normally after a festival/birthday/occasion it takes me a week or so to think about getting back in the zone but I genuinely tried as soon as I returned, especially after the big gain. I didn't however, want to confuse my brain and starve myself like I used to with red days and a lack of syns. I didn't quite get the balance I was after - I had a massive binge on Sunday and I haven't been weighing my HEXs like I normally would. But I feel I gave eased my way in. Normally after a binge I would limit my syns to pretty much nothing but I've just allowed myself up to 15, to get into better habits. I don't know what to expect but I now feel ready to go full steam ahead next week. I've done a lot of walking this week and that makes me feel better on the exercise front. We'll see. Its out WOTY finals tonight, maybe that will inspire me. and I'll do a couple of red days to boost it a bit.

Wednesday GREEN day:
Breakfast:

My town and more importantly my Tescos next door is about to be ransacked by Reading Festival goers so I need to get a few bits tonight for the weekly plan I have made for as of tomorrow! Need to get back on it. Got most of the bits reduced the other week and frozen but just don't want to have to go there over the weekend! Going to bring in some favourites this weekend to make it feel like a treat and try out a new recipe too. I got some reduced pork so will make our beloved pulled pork for Sunday with chips. We got some turkey steaks as well, so going to try the Caribbean stew on the SW website, seeing as I have the Monday off to cook and experiment :)

Its my cousin and his daughters birthday and they're having a big party on Saturday. Last year it was a lovely bbq and I took my own burgers and Quorn sausages to keep it low in syns. Even made some potato salad. But this year may not be a bbq it may be a buffet. Either way, I have Friday night to myself and no money to go out and drink, so I'm going to make some bits to take with me. MUST DO THIS!

Also in inspiration from Miss Stevie, I will NOT be black holing tonight, even if I miraculously lose something! Instead I'll have a jacket potato with cheese n beans waiting for me, some hifis to snack on at group and 8 syns worth of choc after weigh in from my allowance :)

Now for the all important weigh in, hurry up 7pm!
 
Ooo, Reading, Green Day is there on Friday. I'm going Leeds on Saturday to see them haha Kinda wish I was going the whole weekend so I can see Nine Inch Nails too but nevermind, just saturday will do me fine.

Have a lovely time! I've been to Reading about 7 times, so the line up this year is pretty much the same bands as I've seen there before. Will be able to hear it all from my garden really well, so I'll be sat there when System of a Down play!

Well done you for deciding not to black hole!! That's a massive achievement in itself. I know I felt (and still feel!) much better for it. So high 5 to that!! :D

Seeing my WOTY final was so inspirational as well, definitely needed it. Going to do a couple of Red days, while I'm feeling comfortable but not going to push it for the whole week.

Bloody hell I am starving marvin today! Gotta go to the shops in town quick and then walk home so wont be home til like 7 at the earliest. May have to grab some cooked chicken in Saisnbos! D:
 
I know its only been a couple of weeks but I already feel like I'm back into the swing of it. So far so good! Going to have another Red day today, as I have the family birthday party tomorrow. I still plan to be 100% on plan but I'm going to do EE so I can have things like pasta salad, meat, or salad. I'll have a big synfree fry up before and then I'm hopefully going to take an SW quiche and maybe some cold pasta n sauce in case there's only sausage rolls and the like.


Friday RED day:

3.5 thats brill!! I usually go to Leeds every year but missing it this year for a WEDDING ;-( WISH I WAS as close as you so i could hear. Do you find you lose more on red and green that EE i just started back and i want to have speedy losses.

I hardly ever do green but I did it last week for a couple of days and managed the 3.5 so I guess so. definitely lose a lot with Red, often 4 or 5 if I've done a whole week because its less carbs but everyone is different :) I try to only use it after a big gain, or for a push. Otherwise, I just do the odd day as a little boost. I have to be careful not to deprive myself to much as that's when I binge!

And ah that sucks, I think I'll be sitting in the garden tonight listening to SOAD! :p
 
rubbing it in now lol EE never seemed to work for me before but it seems to be this time and i can be a bit more flexible. two months till i turn thirty and i would like to be on the right side of the bmi scale when i do :D
 
I was going to say SOAD aren't on tonight its tomorrow, but its tomorrow at Leeds doh, i can be so thick sometimes
 
Well in my opinion I beat the party! No cake, no crisps or fried little bites. A few treats but nothing major. I didn't end up taken anything with me so I'm happy :)
