Slim at 30

Things on my to do list to keep going with healthy lifestyle:
o drink green tea with half a lemon juice in the am before breakfast
o cut down on refined carbs where poss- no bread, and less pasta
o eat at least 5 fruit/veg a day
o exercise!
start 30 day squat challenge ( when signed off after 6 week post natal check)
Walk at least half an hour a day
Maybe find a fitness class once a week.

Any other suggestions?

What a good idea to write it down. The only thing I'd add if I was doing my own list would be to drink more water because, despite my best efforts to up it in the past, I still don't drink nearly enough. I'll let you know if I think of anything else x

Thanks. I have to write stuff down if I want to get them done or I just forget! I told myself I was going up do 30 squats today but completely forgot!

Good idea about water. I do often do well at water but some days it's so busy that I completely forget. I'm going to try and drink more green tea too. X

Only lost half a pound this week! A bit gutted as I have been completely on plan this week :(

Fingers crossed for a good loss next week. Won't let it demotivate me. I have to make it work this time!

Hope you all have a good day.
X

Just remember that even a 1/2lb loss is still a loss. As long as it's going in the right direction that's the main thing... x

Thanks! I know you are right, it's just a bit disheartening when I have tried so hard. Going to step up rhe exercise this week though. I tend to sit on my bum with the baby all day, so I'm going to try and add in those half hour walks!

I don't find the exercise necessarily helps with my weightloss but it does make me feel better and also keeps me away from the kitchen!!

It can be disheartening to have such a small loss when you've been doing so well but keep going with it and I'm sure you'll start to see your hard work paying off x

Me either but as you say, it makes me more inclined to stay away from the kitchen as I don't want to undo the hard work

S- Alpen bar & kiwi fruit. Ferrero rocher

It's not the size that I like, but I am a definite meat eater, and some of the stuff he gets to eat looks too nice!!

I might buy a teeny tiny cake from the shop?

Can you buy teeny tiny cakes???? I thought you could only but big, syn-ful cakes...!! Maybe that's the only ones I ever see!

I have days like that sometimes, where you just want snacky, unhealthy things. I'm sure most people do. Just try to choose as sensibly as you can and even if you do go a bit over, it's not the end of the world. Just get right back on it x

Ha, no, I don't think they sell teeny tiny cakes either. Teeny tiny cakes would be rubbish anyway, what I actually want is a big fat cake. Although saying that, the intense craving has passed now and don't think I can be bothered to go out so don't think I'll get one. Am pleased with that.

Am having comfort food dinner so hopefully that will sort me out. And it's syn free too. !
