To be bang on in the middle of a healthy BMI, 22.5, the calculator said I needed to be 11st 7. I was 21st 9. Ten stone seemed like an extraordinary and unrealistic amount of weight to lose. To set that as my target would have just been depressing, even with amazing weight loss it would seem just too far ahead. Setting myself up to fail.
My first real big target was to get myself under BMI of 40, and then 35, and then 30. 30 was great as I had passed obesity!!

So far I'm on 10.5lbs loss and hoping for a good loss this week to get near to my stone loss. Good luck everyone we all need the support and I want to help as much as I can too.
Hi welcome and good luck
I have lots to lose. Started at 27 stone 3.5 and I have been following Slimming World since 10th January 2012. I now weigh 21 stone 9.5 with a 5 stone 8lbs loss.
I have just hit my unofficial "club 20" and hoping to join the century club as I only have 22lbs to go til I have lost 100lbs.
My first goal after that will be 19 stone by my birthday month (March)

week 1= 17lbs
week 2= 6 1/2lbs
week 3= 3 1/2 lbs
week 4= didnt make it as i was ill
week 5- 5lbs
I'm a bit anxious about setting any goals. Even my 10% seems so far away. I'm trying to be happy with 1lb a week and not to look beyond.
