Smelly Elle's fantastic diary: Weight Loss? What Weight Loss?

It's computer problems Taz, nothing exciting. :D

Lol taz its ridiculous. i've messed up my boss' wireless keyboard and right now im usin the on-screen keyboard on my laptop cos the n b space and down arrow key keep choosing if they wanna work for me, probably because my cousin spilt some drink on my keys last night :( and now woo, well now those keys are being uber sensitive and double spacing annd giving me more than one b or n lol. this is crazy.

Yup...that will be the problem :p

If it helps you can pick up a USB keyboard at Tesco for about £6

I think i may well do that, although it has calmed down a bit. Im wondering if, like my fone that I dropped down the toilet in Cyprus, if I let it 'dry out' a bit, leave it open, get some air to it, they will miraculously start working perfectly again? What do we reckon lol?

Went and saw John Barrowman in Robin Hood panto earlier. Apparently it broke records of something or other, and hewas here last year and it broke some other kind of records. It was hilarious, but I must say, last years has not been beaten. It was OUTSTANDING last year.

Well, today I believe i've had approximately 1076 cals. And I'm not going to be hungry, which is fun. AAAAAND I didn't eat a single chocolate at the panto, even though there were choccies being passed around me left right and centre, including revels which i can rarely resist. *drool*. No, instead I reached into my bag during the break and got out an apple. And everyone took the piss but I did not care! For I am Robin! And I rule!

Grapes are useful on long journeys too. If you wash them and put them in a bag or plastic box individually, they're as easy to pick at as sweets x

Well done elle, I'm impressed. Good for you love.

well done :D so chuffed for you and your plan hon. go easy on the exercise for this week if you are cutting back so suddenly. i get to not take my advise as i'm coming UP to 1000 from ss :D

i think your weight loss this week is going to be amazing. hope you got the keyboard working. and, if it was a sticky drink then it's unlikely to dry out properly. if it was a cuppa you'll probably be alright :)

:happy096:Congrats!
lol that apple thing is my trick: every single friday afternoon my history class have decided that they need cake and biscuits to get through a triple lesson so each week somebody brings in bownies, cake etc etc. And i'm just there munching on my apple or orange - they think i'm so nuts. Still, we'll show them in the end so who cares?!;)
xx

Kids are allowed to eat in class now? I'm shocked.

:giggle: Well I think my history teacher is a bit of an exception, but even she calls Friday afternoon the graveyard shift and actually encourages us to bring enough so she can have some! The joys of A levels

OK,

Not like my dickensian school days then Daisy. :D

Lol apparently not Jim!:D But i've been thinking about it and it's my teachers who aren't from England who let us eat and are really relaxed about lessons - my hist teacher is Swedish and my Art History teacher is American and they're both fine with it. Weird.
ANYWAY, sorry for the thread hijack Elle - hope your day was fab!
Daisy x

Lol no, please, hijack, i enjoy it!

In my day (hahaha) the only time we were allowed food in class was on special occasions. At uni, some lecturers didn't mind it in lectures, while others (especially the older, more established and, incidentally, historian ones lol) did not like it at all. In seminars twas a no no, apart from when my history tutor in my final year brought in wine and chocolates to celebrate xmas. yum...

Well i took an apple into the cinema today so was good. And then my cousin bought pic and mix but i refused any of them. I've had just over 500 cals today so it's going well, but the water guzzling is not so good today on account of the fact that I just dont feel like any :S

Hmm...im getting peckish. I reckon ill go and have my dinns :D xxx

Well done Elle - I reckon you're slap bang in the zone x

Sounds like you're doing great hun. x

Congratulations on resisting the chocs at the panto! What did you see at the cinema, any good?

well done elle, your next WI should be really good love.
