SpursGem CC Diary to lose 8 Stone!!

It was a little strange, the consistency was more like cous cous. On it's own it wasn't that nice but mixed in with the curry it was nice. Going to try it with Chilli next week i think

That mango slicer thingy is great! hardly no wastage

this is very similar to the one i have ASDA Stainless Steel Egg Poacher | Frying Pans | ASDA direct. Definitely worth it, they come out great everytime

Had such a nightmare day at work yesterday, our systems were down so no-one could do their banking for 4 hours! i didn't get a lunch break, 5 mins to eat a ryvuta and had to stay behind. Ended up having a chinese take away although i didn't eat a lot of it. I had a head ache and went to bed early!!

No sunday morning football for me, our season has finished :cry:although i'm helping run the league cup finals in the evening next few sundays so thats ok

Kind of made the recipe up for Chorizo chicken, just threw it all in to be honest

2 x chicken breast diced
150g pasta (75g each)
1 tin chopped toms
2 tsp tom puree
chilli powder (was going to use paprika but run out)
10 slices of Chorizo, i shredded them
1 onion diced

Cook chicken and onion in frying pan
cook the pasta
in a saucepan heat the tinned toms, paprika, tom puree and bring to boil
add the pasta, chorizo and chicken and stir
heat through and serve

I was in Asda today as well lol! could have picked one up

My weekend was so too quick - Saturday i was at my dad's and spent most of today walking around town (3 hours worth) and I hate shopping, then popped into my friends (local) for a cuppa and got home just in time to cook dinner

House is a tip - going to try and get it all done tomorrow morning

I hate shopping too! i try to get in and get out as quick as i can! you done well doing 3 hours

I'm getting so fed up cleaning and tidying the house. Stuart has decided he wants meat and veg for his lunches, he slow cooks it night before and leaves all the mess for me to clean up!!!

it's so easy to guestimate amounts, but i worked out that an extra 20g of dried pasta is an extra 70 cals. It's too easy to add too much.

I brought myself one of these water bottles which helps so much with my water intake. I have one on my desk at work and one at home. I try to aim and drink 3 of them at least
 
Fresh is much nicer I found the calories really vary, some dried pasta is lower in cals but others can be a lot higher, same with fresh pasta Morrison's and asda's are around 180 ish cals for 125g where Tesco's fresh pasta is a whopping 440 cals for 175g.

I love those water bottles very stylish! I'm going have a look on amazon, their be really handy when going out for walks x
