Starting cd for first time tomorrow

In fact... I'm going to ss from tomorrow as I am already feeling so guilty about the Chinese I hvent even eaten yet! I don't teach much on a monday too, so if I'm getting into ketosis by Monday, it shouldn't be too bad!
 
Hey, i have to have takeaway with my mum next week and i'm hoping for chinese as it can be ok. Do you like yuk sung? That's practically an SS+ meal as it's meat and lettuce!
 
Hi thanks for your advice guys! I wnt and had a lovely time. Once I got there I thought sod it, if I'm having Chinese, I may aswell do it properly haha! I had no rice or noodles, stuck to meat and veg dishes but then I did have banana fritters, ice cream and chocolate fountain stuff haha! Blow out! I also treated myself to a diet coke haha whooooo!!! Feeling ok, I'm doing ss from tomorrow for a week to get me back into ketosis and a kick start again. The key is to draw a line under it and get straight back on! I was full after my first plate and only ate half of my second one which is much much less than if usually have eaten!
 
Absolutely Amy! Feeling fine this morning, scared about ss'ing only hahaha! I MUST do this now for my holiday tho! We have a work summer party next Friday night but I'm not drinking there, everyone at work is trying to persuade me but no way! They have an amazing buffet there and of I drink it'll be like BBQ night all over again haha! My willpower goes to zero when I drink! 3 weeks on weds till my holiday now! Eeeeeeek
 
I know I'm going out next sat and I have all intentions of only eating meat and veg but I know as soon as I get there it'll turn in to a blow out but the intentions are there!!!!
 
Haha! My mantra has always been, "if you're gonna do it, do it properly" with regards to eating out! If only it was the same for diets hahaha x
 
Today on ss hasn't been too bad. Had a shake this morning, a bar at about 3:00pm and having a soup later. Haven't drank enough yet but a few coffees aswell as some water has kept me going!
 
Got my gorgeous nephew staying over tonight and he's got super noodles and bread with butter. Crap I know but it actually smells so lovely! The bread looks deeeeeelish! Back on the ss and trying to cane loads of water to stave away the hunger. The bars definitely don't satisfy me like the shakes and soups do. Anyone else think they only stave the hunger off for a short while? X
 
AND....... I swapped a top I bought in a size 12 as it was too big for a different top in a size 10!!! Whooooo x
 
Totally agree CG! I'd never give them up, they're too yummy but I'm definitely hungry again within an hour easily! I think that explains why I've been so hungry all day after having a bar for breakfast! How are you getting on? :)
 
Well today........ Dropping the nephew off and then I'm going to the gym for the first time since doing cd. Just going to do some light cardio and a swim after. haven't actually managed to get down there yet as my chest has been bad all week but today is the day!
Had a bar for breakfast as the nephew had his own cereal bar. If I had a shake, he'd want a milkshake and I don't have any haha. Getting weighed tomorrow and am anxious to say th very least! The gym will have to be my "social life" now until Ibiza as I have no money haha! On the up side, at least I'll tone up haha. Only going in light tho as I'm back on ss. Feel fine on ss but will stop if I get any strange feelings/ light headed-ness.
 
Hey there, what age is your nephew? Mine are 11 and 4 and both are ALL boy. Good thing there are computers and video games!
Just had 2 coffees and a butterscotch shake, which I think is my least favourite. And can you believe, I'm baking chocolate cupcakes right now, with strawberry icing made of soft cheese:eek: I'm such a dope! Will have to deliver them by car to the bf's work just to get them out of the flat:p

OH, I meant to say before - nice work on the size 10 top!!!
 
This one is 4 and an absolute rascal haha! I've had non stop ben 10 on tv and back to back DVDs alongside regular nintendo DS breaks haha! Went to bed at 10 and up again at 7 :( oh the joys! Oh those cakes sound amazing! I love cupcakes so so much! Been reading through my CD book and I'm wondering whether to move onto 1000 step or whether to jut go to ww straight after holiday. I'm veering towards ww as it will be my cheaper option.
 
Yeah, and it's amazing how many episodes of spongebob one can watch.

You know, if it were me I'd probably move on to ww. If you'll be needing to buy regular food anyway I'm sure I'd much rather have a sensible ww meal than just a shake substitute, tho maybe I'd keep a few round the flat just for convenience. And, if you feel confident that you can eat normal food w/o going berzerk (i.e. massive binge) then it seems like the logical move. I haven't looked at the 1000 plan, is that 1 shake and 2 meals or 2 shakes and 1 meal? Well whatever, personally speaking I'd move on to ww.;)
 
Yeah I'm thinking te same, that was always my original plan. 1000 is 2 shakes, fruit , salad lunch and a dinner which also means I'll be spending an absolute fortune on food! Simply cannot afford that! Ww it is! Thanks CG! Have you done any exercise at all since cd?
 
Eating is an expensive hobby:D

I've done no exercise to speak of since starting CD, but the past few weeks I've been doing stretches ordered by the physiotherapist to unclench the piriformis muscle (essentially my arse), as it's gone into spasm and is pressing on my sciatic nerve. Naturally, this is due to my sitting on it by the computer all day and not exercising!

However! My new pedometer arrived in yesterday's post and I've got it all set up with my weight and length of my step and I'll be giving it a go in the morn. I've got a route planned, nothing major at first but it'll be 1.5 miles or so, at least it's something to start!
