Stubbseys Diary - back in the zone!

Hope you managed to sleep, I've been lying here awake for what seems like hours!
Interesting on the fasting, not sure if I could manage, what I love about low carb eating is never feeling hungry :)

i have been contemplating it for a week or two, i honestly didn't think i would find it this easy. I imagined that the hunger would get the better of me, but its funny knowing that tomorrow morning i can be a little piggy if i need to be somehow makes it so much easier, i think if i was rumbling and knowing tomorrow would be the same and the day after etc etc i think i might think to hell with this.. but i strangely like the empty feeling, not being bloated its invigorating.

Snap, that's exactly how I felt when doing JUDDD, guess you can apply this to any plan. Go Tracy!! :)

i am the same Sandra i hate feeling hungry and thought i would not be able to do it, i guess there is something about knowing it is only until the morning! plus the emptier you feel the lighter you feel its psychological too. I didn't sleep well, laid awake most of the night i think i got off about 4 only to wake up again at 8 and not be able to get back off. its now nearly half 10 and i still haven't thought about breakfast its weird. didn't have the whoosh of a loss like last time but then it was also the end of my totm when losing water etc

going out for dinner and movie today, thinking of seeing sinister, which looks very jumpy in the trailers so perfect to get in the mood for halloween i guess.

not sure what to have for breakfast today, it has to last me until my meal out so probably eggs n bacon but shall see when i get there...

not sure if i fancy doing the full monty with JUDDD think it might be a tall order for me to do it every other day, but once i am into this and get xmas out of the way and who knows. it does make you feel some how more in tune, if that makes any sense? a bit clearer about everything, certainly makes you feel slimmer and more energetic and alert.... can't be bad!
bye for now hope u all have a good day xxx

well, quiet on here at the moment! i saw Sinister and it wasnt as scarey as i thought i found it a little predictable and not that jumpy as the only one bit made me jump most of the time i was well prepared for it. good film tho, good story.

have not really eaten enough today. i ended up rushing around this morning and only had time for a red leicester oopsie sandwich, then didnt eat until after the movie, went to f&b and had 8oz sirloin, 4 king prawn skewer, salad, mushrooms and vine tomatoes, with sachet of mayo. so not really enough. had a good look around the shops and was very shocked at some of the sizes i was getting into, and what was actually too big. The waitress said i didnt need to lose anymore weight, i said i did, and she was nooooo you actually dont. must admit my reflection as i pass shops is looking better lol. still not there yet though!!

baking hot this evening i think my laptop is going to melt which is not helping the situation!!

B. 2 oopsies, red leicester with mayo for butter
D. 4 king prawn skewer, 8oz sirloin, salad consisting of lettuce, red onion and tomato, 4 mushrooms and vine tomatoes, sachet of mayo

ratios.. c5 f59 p36 calories only 834 (not enough)

morning.. i love those sites and all those yummy recipes then they go and add something obscure i have never heard of that they get in america, wtf is half and half? nice drooling tho and may be worth giving some a bit of a try at crimbo x

She uses lots of polyol type sweeteners there. Xylitol and Erithiol are among the better ones but I've tried both and both gave me terrible stomach cramps and loo issues.

The trouble with cooking with chocolate is that you apparently need two types of sweetener (if youre not using sugar) otherwise it goes bitter. Personally I use my liquid hermestas and then add chocolate flavoring with just a touch of cocoa for color and that seems to work better.

Oh and half and half is, I think, something like half milk half cream - I think it's usually replaced with single cream in uk recipes?

Good advice - along with chocolate rum balls, this is going on the Christmas treat list :)

Thats worth knowing thank for that will open up a fewmore recipesinthe future

been cooking up a storm today, had six to cook for they all had my tuna bake i had lamb steak which was not as tender as i would have liked. Only in light ketosis for some reason hardly making a colour not had anything naughty so not sure whats goingon there!

B. three thin bacon rashers two oopsies buttered
D. Large lamb steak, roasted celeriac in actifry, roasted veg, peppers, courgette, red onion and mushrooms
S. Sugar free strawberry jelly 2 tbsp cream

in my old atkins answer books it says that dark is good and light is in light ketosis for some reason, i hadnt drank much when it was light and interesting when i had actually drank two lots of water it was then dark... i am probably just odd!!

went to see Skyfall today as my oh is a James Bond fan and we always have to go see new Bonds as soon as they are out. It was quite a long movie, didnt feel long though only after about 2 hours in i needed a wee, so had to wait about another hour before i could do one lol... Not a bad Bond tho, they went back to basics got rid of all the outlandish inventions.

didnt really have time to eat much before we left tho, had few slices of ham only then got home and did a pig out fry up. tho left a lot because i was stuffed. got jelly and cream for later if i need it (i always need it lol)

B. nothing
L. 3 or 4 slices of ham rolled into a sausage
D. 2 black farmer sausages, 2 thin bacon rashers, half chicken breast (couldnt eat it all), 2 eggs, 1 tomato, few chips of celeriac (couldnt eat it so only had a tiny bit), 2 oopsies with butter. oil for cooking was olive oil and butter for the eggs. mmmmm so lovely! made one oopsie into a sausage sandwich and one into an egg n bacon sandwich mmmmm
S. later if needed sugar free strawberry jelly & 1 tbsp cream

DK is right, any pink shade at all is just fine and dark shades can often indicate you need a bit more water or some more veg. I usually start feeling a bit nauseous when my sticks are really dark.

Gosh Stubbsey, you've done fantastically! You look like a different person. It's amazing how photographs seem to show the difference do much more than checking the mirror.
