Stubbseys Diary - back in the zone!

got the almond meal king cake in the oven smells good!!

decided to try a few different bits like nuts etc start myself on the slow road to owl see if it helps

got a busy day already lugged a ton of shopping home from two shops and got a ton of cooking to do in a min need some cake to recover!!

Mmmmmmmmm cake! Dont worry smilie, reputation in tact!! I hadit with a tablespoon of cream and loved it xx

eaten well today after my fast i wanted to spoil myself a little. Made a chicken n chorizzo risotto for oh and one some, some roasted chicken pieces for other son and sirloin for me! Mmmm

made oopsies without flax (wanted to try it again) very very light without the flax more delicate but a bit nicer flavour i think, and a little less carby..

B. 2 bacon, oopsies
L. Diet lemonade x3
D. 7oz sirloin, small chicken breast, celeriac, roast veg, tomato, mushroom, courgette then... Cake with cream

The risotto i make with arborio rice was one of my ww meals hubby loves it, i could easilly substitute cauli rice for it, or cut up the shukibuki noodles (i can never remember what they were called) might try that soon, i was wondering what to do with them.

Its lovely, very light oh and eldest son n his gf have all said they like it too, the colour in pic doesnt look even but it is really... Deffo make it again!

Fab, at least it looks and tastes like a cake. I made a ghastly almond mim earlier, which absolutely was not like a cake!

I dont like mims i have tried with them but i just dont like the texture. I should experiment more with them i guess x

i should try that i love a bit of cheese on toast so must give it a go, i might try that almond flour one with yeast the flax bread recipe, as i am not starting to introduce some nuts etc xx

Breakfast today was flawless oopsies and cheese sandwich mmmm
not sure what i am going to do for dinner today but it will probably be something with mince as i have some in the fridge, or might do spag bol for my youngest and have a bit of a stir fry with shukibukiduki noodles or a risotto with it.. decisions decisions!! still got some cake left so mmmmm that is desert sorted!!

Morning, I don't like mims either, again it is the texture, I use the min receipe with the addition of 15gr of soft cheese and fry it in two dollops....it is delicious. I have just had them for breakfast, a bacon and melted cheese sandwich.

hi y'al

i am having a BRYAN ADAMS FEST today, god, i could do that man some damage!!!! phew cold shower i think....

i made the shukibukiduki noodles and i loved them. i just washed them and in a pan i put two chicken breasts cubed (smallish ones) a quarter or less of red onion, a bit of celery, bit of pepper, tsp chilli flakes (it was a bit hot in places) half a tomato, and some garlic salt with some olive oil oh, and a bit of chorizzo too nearly forgot that... i mixed a tbsp worcestershire, a tbsp low carb ketchup an oxo and two tsp splenda and bunged in noodles and sauce and gave it a bit of a sizzle and it was done.. eaten half for lunch having the rest later when oh eats his dinner.

deffo get them again even tho they are just a smidge chewy still good tho.

B. two oopsies (wo flax) half oz cheddar, mayo
L. Noodles as above
D. Rest of noodles, cake (can't wait)

Thanks for that lots of recipes for noodles there!!

Had a good hay oh off today so went out bought a mini green house come frame so he put that together. Had breakfast out n going to bingo with one of my best friends, Steve, who is gay we have been friends for over 20 years when we were neighbours. Will be lovely catching up with him its been a while!

B. 2 bacon 2 eggs 2 sausages half tomato mushrooms
L. Piece ofking cke
D chicken leg roated in butter n herbs with runner beans

Oooh I love a bit of bingo - online bingo just doesn't cut it, it's much more fun being around real live flesh people (especially a lifelong gay man, that's a must!) while real life balls drop :D Have fun!

he he yes it was good fun we had a lot of catching up to do and we really had such a laugh, we had a very funny 'special' person sitting on the next table that was getting cross when anyone else won, i won twice i thought he was going to kill me lol. i usually never win, honestly we have been going for many many years and i think i have probably won three or four times. it was nice to come out a little on top tonight..

resisted my friend steve's urgings for food, told him to order what he wanted coz i had already had dinner but he left it too late. been pretty good food wise today, being out all evening helped there. all i had while i was out was a diet coke. out again tomorrow so steak salad in f&b i guess. not sure what else we are doing tho..

have a good zzz everyone xxx
