Oh no :( What may you have to have surgery on? xx

I have PCOS and 8 weeks ago I started having massive abdo pains, 2 scans later and it's shown I now have cysts growing on cysts on my ovaries which are causing me so much pain. With PCOS you have cysts which pop and grow as your cycle goes so u wouldn't need surgery as there would be no point as the cysts grow/pop/grow/pop etc, but with my stupid ones the cysts grow and grow and grow; so not too sure what is going to happen, but I can't go on like this so hoping the specialist will suggest something constructive ... other than surgery to take them out, which is fine by me in principle but I hate the thought of more surgery & more hospital stays:mad:

Good luck at the docs tomorrow hun, hope it goes ok. Big hugs xxx

Crap day. Surgery is the only option. They are also going to go through my tummy tuck scarring, and through my new belly button which still gives me pain after the original tummy tuck surgery earlier this year. This is a nightmare. I know I shouldn't complain as there are at lot worse off than I, including my brother who has cancer, but it still sucks.

I could quite easily order a pizza right now i'm that fed up.

To top it off, goodness knows why, I sneaky peaked and it looks like I've lost jack this week. Great.

Bet you glad you read this diary - cheery is not the word!:mad:

Sorry to hear that honey-have they given you any idea of timescales?
I know it's crap but you can still stay in control of what you eat so maybe sticking to plan will help you feel more in control... Stay away from the pizza!

:DThanks Sarah
Had dinner now so no room to eat pizza -- I wouldn't have done anyway as despite my moaning and groaning Im well in the zone, I'll hang on in there and see what WI says:p

They will operate by the end of Jan/early Feb at the latest, as I am an essential care patient apparently so they will treat me as priority. One bonus I guess:D

(((((big hugs))))) for you sweetie, op won't be nice but you'll feel so much better after
I'll be keeping fingers crossed for your weigh in
xx

Thanks Lou, I know deep down it's the only way but it still makes me sick @ the thought of it. My belly button makes me black out if I touch it at the wrong angle or if someone knock into me so the thought of them shoving a needle into it or whatever they do, is making me quiver!

There's nothing shouting out at me! Try throwing a few red days into the mix maybe? Keep going! It always pays off in the end! You're still loosing a pound a week!

Stick at it! All I can suggest is mixing it up a bit :)

xx

Thanks Allie.:)
I'll try it, and look at drinking more as well as cutting down portion sizes.

Stay strong sweetie you can do this ( saying the one who's gone to the dark side lol )
xx

I've gone back to the Dark side too! I know it works so to me it makes sense. I like SW but it just doesnt agree with me when it comes to weight loss! At least we can now carry on supporting each other on the same plan! xxx

Hi all,

I'm coming back to SW from tomorrow:p

WW-PP didn't work for me over a period of time and they don't support the old plan so, I'm coming back to SW as at least I know :-
a) I won't ever be hungry; and
b) I can, at worst, maintain! (hopefully lose!)

I'm just planning my meals now for the coming week, all stocked up so I just need to work out what I'm having and when:) I'm going to work on cutting portion sizes too, and I need to make sure I drink enough liquid that isn't tea or coffee!

Well, we didn't get Scrappy:( Having driven 5 hours to Wales and having spent 2 hours with him on the beach we didn't take him. He hated our puppy Baxter and really growled at him. He didn't even know his name and needed a family who had the time to dedicate a lot of training each day....

We now have a beautiful little girl called Hattie (another Black Labrador), and she's 15 weeks. We got her at 8 weeks... She and Baxter love each other to bits and are inseperable. They are a delight to have! Here they are together... (sorry if it comes out massive!)
