Surfhunny's Countdown to Florida

rugby guy's obsessed thread or what! lol missed last night uk bl, not as good as the us version. it's taped to whizz through. can't remember what orange look like now as i'm thinking us bl lol. will zoom through it later when i've got time.

zumba is doing a thur am class. 10-11 at dl's. apparently you need to book. last weeks am class had 40 in it and the evening 70!!!! WTF! never seen a class as big as that apart from a launch day. they've dropped a couple of pump classes. so i'll have to go back to a monday evening with phil. haven't been for donkeys!

My god that's lots of people to fit into that studio!! I go to the one at the Neptune in berwick hills, and there's prob about 70 go to that class but it's a massive room.

Just about to watch last nights Glee, I sky+d it last night because for something to watch today.

don't watch glee, wouldn't know what it was about. finding it hard to get back on track today. days off are badddddddd! i'll be back 100% tomorrow. gradually doing it.

i've taped tonight's BL US and still haven't watched the UK BL

I won't spill the beans, but tonights is good wouldn't mess with Jillian lol!!!

I've had a nasty little reminder that it's going to take a while to recover from this stupid injury. This morning I got out of bed totally forgetting about it, took a step normally on my bad leg and felt like I'd been electrocuted, the pain was unbelievable!!! I've been in pain all day, boo don't like set backs I want to be fixed.

Still no sign of physio appointment, going to see GP on Thursday so hopefully she'll be able to give me some answers about how to speed up recovery and when to expect a physio appointment. I'm starting to get very frustrated!!! I'm not particularly bothered about being off work, I just don't like being off my feet, I didn't realize how active I was before. Ah well I guess I just have to suck it up and be patient :(

Hey, sorry to hear that your struggling with your injury. I am a Physio and there's a 4 week waiting list here so ur apt may take a while :-( sorry to tell u but a Physio won't help that much either with ur injury! Your body needs time to heal and lay down new tissue in the tear. Physio cab then help to smmoyh and straighten the scar tissue. Sorry but it takes time! In the meantime best thing is rest and warmth I.e hot baths, hot water bottle etc. Feel free to ask any questions and wishing u a speedy recovery xx

Thanks kimmi, the reason I'm so desperate to see a physio is to make sure I'm not increasing the scarring by not walking properly etc, I don't want the muscle to shorten too much. I'm just impatient to get back to being active again and I don't want to slow my progress by doing something I shouldn't. Is it ok then to put heat on it because the doc in A&E said ice, was that just initially to limit the bleeding and swelling? I was in too much pain at the time to think of asking how long for etc. Healthcare people are terrible patients lol.

Yeah but it seems to have gone down back to normal size now. And it's not as painful to touch as it was. Drs appointment tomorrow so might know a bit more about what to expect after that.

Side effects of CD cry at anything? Eh? Really? I barely cried the first time I did it, and now I only cry on the Friday before my TOTM comes on the Saturday PMT not diet!

Not sure I can watch this it's going to make me cross!!! CD is not a crash diet!!

I know! And I thought eating last thing at night and a shrinking stomach had been proven to be myths? I don't think they are explaining cd very well. It's much more clinical than the others.

There is a free app for today, Nike training club.

It freaking annoyed me that programme and I only saw the last 10 mins. How can they really compare it to maple syrup and cabbage soup diet.... Where's the nutritional value in those diets, it's crackers!

He he already have that app, can you believe I just bought some new Nike trainers with the Nike + sensor, might get to use them eventually lol.

What do they link to? Do they linnk to the one that comes pre installed on the iphone?

The sensor links to the one already on the iPhone but haven't had chance to try it out yet :( The sensor goes in your left trainer so I can't even try it walking cos it's my left leg that's injured. They're sitting there in the box winking at me! :(

I'd even made arrangements to go running with my brother and can't for a while boo hiss!

Have you got the app I said about then? It's different to the one pre loaded, but I think it gives you exercise 'classes' to do while tracking you.

It took me ages trying to calibrate that nike one on the phone before someone told me you needed a sensor...doh!

Yep that sounds like the one, I wiped all my exercise apps off my phone when I went to Vegas to make room for photos lol will have to get it back on. I've got the addidas one too, micoach, only because Jonny Wilkinson advertised it and I love Jonny lol!
