Oh, and the wii Zumba can be two person -- I think the Kinnect can be four. My son played that one a friend's house and said it was very cool. But, as we have a Wii I went with that one.

I'm hopping mad!!! Mum bought some Ketostix last week and they cost £4.50. I went to same chemist and they've cost me £9.68. Unbelievable. The woman checked the price twice and checked with the pharmacist who was also at a loss at to why the price has more or less doubled!!! I won't be buying anymore!!!!
 
have you checked online or on ebay? they might be cheaper.
 
These are the very same ones. Lol ripped off!!! Never mind!! I can get them for £5.00 off the Kee website, almost got them with my order but forgot, serves me right!
 
take the boots ones back if you've not opened them and buy the amazon ones. might take a week to get to you but they'll be cheaper.

been looking at low carb vegetarian recipe books on amazon. i need something to follow. i'm beginning to think maybe i should do ww. i always get this feeling when i feel hard done by food wise. i know i can live on hardly any points at all. it's more to STS than loose more but i wouldn't say no to another 7-10lbs over the next 6 months. don't know if i should experiment for a week or not. i suppose if it goes wrong i can get back to the 1000-1200 plan. i need more veg in my life. i want to eat veg soup, quorn chilli, quorn curry, etc etc etc feel hard done by at the min, really hard done by. so much so that i'm beginning to think that i don't think i'll be good at this weight cause i'm finding it hard to stay around this weight. i want to stay slim, i want to be slim. i suppose my BMR is rubbish..... 1479 cals only to live on a day.
 
Give it a go for a week or two and see how you feel on it. What has Julie said about maintaining? I never got round to it with her, I ran away to do SW but never quite got round to it lol. Hence several returns to CD.

i suppose i've just done ww before. i'm getting lost about what to eat on cd now. i want more variety but am a little scared to experiment with it. i'd like to try making a chilli with my quorn allowance or a curry and i'd like to use a variety of veg like baby corn and green beans, asparagus etc i love my veg. i'm not sure how all of this stands on cd.

I understand what you mean Nikki.. if u feel this way experiment for yourself after this weeks weigh in??

i know :( shanny. i really want to be able to eat normally with the odd treat. with all this exercise we should in all truth be stick insects and needing to eat more just to STS but for me this isn't happening. i wish one of you could see all the effort i really put into my gym work and my classes. it's quite depressing thinking that i'll need to keep my cals low cause i'm in fear all the time of putting on. :( i wasn't like this before either. it's happened since i stopped the 810 around xmas time. i only put on 1/2lb at xmas and i ate like a pig. i'm not doing this now. i have the odd treat and i have a time where i'll fall of the rails but the exercise is extreme all the same so i should be STS not putting on and even loosing. maybe i'm warped in my thinking. i just put 100% into my classes and my gym work. my heart rate goes up to 160 in my zumba class as i leap and jump so much. i think i just need to do this 7 days a week and then do other things too. the only time i didn't put weight on was when i was running around 25-30 miles a week and doing about 5 hours in the gym, classes etc.

anyway, i came on here to show my new zumba top.... the last one i'm buying for ages as i have so many. i love it... i just want to buy about 10 more but i can't right now cause i really do think i'll get told off by hubby, plus we're trying to save and we want to send ems to teesside prep in september. :eek:

i'd love to get bottoms too but i think that the waist will not come high enough for me. i have a high waist and they'll just fall down or give me a muffin top. i wouldn't know what size to buy too cause they're not really adjustable waists.

Nikki I've just had a brainwave!! You know when you first start CD you have a few great losses then all of a sudden you get a low one or an STS because your body is adjusting.

I wonder if it's the same with exercising. You've really increased the intensity over the last month or so, and I wonder if your body is just adjusting to the intensity and storing in case it needs it and once it realises this level of activity is the norm it'll start losing again?? Hope this is the answer!!!
 
So my food today has been slightly different!!

1.5litres water across the morning
Chocolate fudge shake for lunch :( not very impressed
Cottage cheese 150g
Chicken 70g -

not really sure if I should be splitting my proteins like this but cottage cheese is in 150g pots and I feel hard done to if I don't have my full protein 'allowance'

1.5 litres water spread throughout the afternoon
Cottage pie 'mush' :D :D
2 cans of Coke Zero

I feel well and truly full up!! I'm off to bed, I'm shattered so hopefully I'll get to sleep at a reasonable time tonight. Might give the hypnotherapy app another go, can't hurt can it? Lol.
