Morning Shanny,
Americans think in pounds, so we think in 5 pound segments. In US Ww you get little stickers or something for every five pounds you lose. (Beck is American.) So, this week "thinking like an American" will be helpful for me. "I lost a pound", not "I lost less than 1/2 a kilo."
I am glad that the book is working so well for you. I am finding it a big help, too. (Still need to do that "water card").
BTW, I like the idea of writing down what you eat (as you are) and I think I'll do that in my diary. I also like how you are not just counting the calories, but the carbohydrates.
@GT -- I feel your pain. I have been pretty good -- not perfect -- re: the diet the past two weeks, but I am only showing a one pound loss on my scales.
I will see my CDC tomorrow and be weighed by her scales, so today I will push the water (not been great with this) and watch the salt and carbs, as well as, the food/CD.
But, I know what has been missing the past two weeks...
the fitness. I have done very little. I hope that I work through Beck's Week 2 to Day 9 and exercise, quickly.
The sun was out here. I hope it comes back, that always helps my mood and motivation.
