Thanks Lou. He's feeling better but still not right if you know what I mean. My IBS is still playing up but I'm not helping myself. Had chicken and chips from the chippy today as I couldn't be bothered to cook.
 
Got Jessie home today. She's on 2 heart tablets a day and 1/2 water tablet twice a day to stop the build up of fluid in the lungs. She has to take these for the rest of her life. The vet said that she also needs to be kept calm. Has anyone ever tried to keep a bouncy Jack Russel calm. It's near impossible.
Dad can't get warm think it might be the Warfarin so he's gone for a lay down. He's also feeling more breathless today. I'm hoping thats just because of the transition from Hospital to home.

Okay food today. Not really a SW dinner but he ho

B: porridge and weetabix s milk
L: Low fat cheese spread, smoked salmon and scan bran.
D: tandoori chicken and rice (asda's)
 
Well I lost 4.5lb this week. Shame I put on last week. Trying EE today.

B: weetabix and s milk
L: Chilli and rice
D: chilli and rice

Snacks yogurt
 
Its cook to see you back online Susie. I hope that your dad is on the mend, the same with your dog. Loosing 4.5lbs is fantastic given the stress you have been through lately and good luck for this week.

i'm really enjoying it but I'm still a bit worried that it won't work. It seems too good to be true if you know what I mean. I suppose this is the way forward though and it definately gonna ake things easier when we get to target
 
I have to say thats the reason i haven't started it yet, i don't understand how you can do it and it work, as its kind of opposite to everything sw have said before. Although my consultant said it has been road tested for a year and tweaked and thats why the list of hex's is shorter, as they had to trim some of the higher fat/calorie ones.
 
A lady at our group tried it for a week and lost 3lbs. I really think that it will depend on the individual. I am trying it this week, and must admit that I am a bit sceptical, but at the same time, I don't think SW would have brought the plan out if it didn't work. I agree that I may keep EE for the weekends only if I find that my losses aren't great on it.
