That's fantastic well done. I seem to just be STS at the moment. I thought I'd lost 1lb but then moved the scales and I was back at 10st 5.5lbs! As long as I'm not gaining!
Still maintaining . Just bought a slow cooker on Sunday - have used it every day since! I have never had so many red/ee days in a row. So far have had beef & veg, gammon with cider, liver and onions, honey mustard chicken and bacon stew, cooked a full chicken (tasty) and cooked a gammon joint, at this rate I'll be wearing it out!
Hey Suz, that slow cook stuff sounds brill. I've been doing some slow cook stuff in the oven. Dung liver casserole tonight so that I can have it tomorrow , would you say the slow cooker gives better results?
Hi Quins, hope your liver casserole was nice, I like liver. I would think the results would be the same, I can't remember the last time I did a casserole in the oven, I would usually use a pressure cooker but I imagine the slow cooker would be more cost effective than the oven, also it only cost £11.99 to buy so it was worth giving it a try. I'm glad I got it, today I'm doing rich pork and vegetable ragu from the slimming world all in one cook book (minus courgettes as I didn't have any) 1 syn on e/e and orig.
Oi where've you been, wassup? I've been well off piste this week, work liaisons , not going to bother weighin til I get a straight week. Come on Suz, , what you up to with that slow cooker?
Hi Quins, I'm still here, I pop in every now and again...I'm getting too lazy to do a regular update! If I motivate myself I might get round to keeping my food diary again.
I've not used the slow cooker this week, I know the idea is to prepare & cook the food for while you're out at work but to be honest its much easier to wait until my days off to use it, I have to be up and out too early to be pratting about preparing food before work! I'm off for the next three days so will probably have a go at something then.
My son and his girlfriend have been to stay for a few days, I didn't see much of them though as I've been at work, managed to catch up for a couple of hours last night, it was lovely to see them, they've gone back home now, he will be back again at Christmas.
Hope you can pull yourself back on track...you don't want to be going too far off the rails!
I've decided to start keeping up to date with my food diary again, I've been having far too many syns and treats lately and I've been telling myself that it's ok, well it isn't! I need to see all my food intake written down to keep me on the straight and narrow. So here we go:
Green
Hexa: milk
Hexb: weetabix, 2 slices w/m bread from 400 g loaf
B: 2 weetabix
L: egg on 1 slice of w/m toast, w/w yogurt
D: Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausages, 1 slice w/m bread. w/w yogurt.
They were the Morrison's ones, £1.59 a bag or 2 for £3.00. I like the Linda McCartney red onion ones too, and the Italian style but I haven't tried the plain ones yet with them being 1 syn each, I'd rather stick with 0 - half a syn, then I've got more syns for treats!!
