Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Morning all, I have a day off work and I will be spending it on trains!!! It should be good as we are going to Shrewsbury and I've never been there before. I think most of the route will be along the route I usually work so that will be a bit familiar but it will be nicer on a steam train. Working again tomorrow then I have at least 2 days off. I only really want to work one day next week so I hope I get that at least

Morning all, had a fantastic day yesterday. It was a long day but a really good one. Shrewsbury was a lovely town and the time we had there was just right for a spot of lunch followed by a good walk around. The buildings were amazing, a real mixed bag of styles and fascinating to look at. The train journey was long and we had 300 miles pulled by steam.

Got home last night to find a serious, possibly fatal, accident on my road. The police shut off the road from my house (their tape was tied around my garden wall!!!) to the other end of the terrace and all the traffic was turning around outside my bedroom window which, along with the random flashing blue lights, was quite annoying and stopped me from sleeping for a while. I still woke up before my alarm though so not all bad :)

Not much doing this week, working today then so far no work for this week :( the time off will be much appreciated though

I do indeed have a day off! Although I did have to get up early to take Mr Taz into work but I won't be getting up early tomorrow. I didn't do any of my Sunday chores yesterday as I didn't get home til 7pm and I was a little tired so I have them to do today. I have already done the washing up, put the bedding in the wash, put the previous wash on the airer and cleaned the kitchen. I just have the lounge to do but that can wait til a bit later.

I looked up the timetable for the local steam train trip that goes from Bristol to Kingswear in Devon. I found out that they are scheduled to run the Sunday before and after my birthday but then I looked at the price and realised it wasn't do-able for this year. It ran yesterday and a family turned up late, just in time to see the train pull out of the station! I'm guessing they would have got a service train to Devon and picked up the steam for the return.

Not much else planned for today but chilling

Definately next year, I will be saving up! I did nothing yesterday which means I still have some chores to do today.

Scales dipped on Sunday morning and looked promising for my Friday target but then went up again yesterday morning and refuse to move! Not sure I can shift the 3lb I want gone by Friday but I will give it a damn good go!!!

Morning all! Well I did the chores but still feeling very lazy. After this week I have 4 weeks with very little rest time so I feel fully justified in being lazy :D

Scales are down a little today, if they drop again tomorrow and Friday at the same rate I will do it :D :D
 
Ha ha, not sure the 5 minutes it takes to clean my lounge (just cleaning the table and hoovering the carpet) will work much off
