Wait til you see it for real Gem, the camera doesn't pick up the true colour. I have to say, I'm really liking it. I though that if I was going to lose my natural colour I might as well have something totally different and neither me nor the hairdresser expected the colour that came out!!!

Yeah - she was always surprised what came out on my hair when I used to go to her. One day she refused to let me go out of her house as my hair turned a very surprising colour, much resembling a scabby cat! She said "You're not leaving my house looking like that" and left me there and went to the shop to get a repair kit. Glad your experience was better. Have to say the fault was with my hair and the products we were using not with her x

She was unsure about the colour asked me if I was absolutely sure that I wanted to risk it. When I said I wanted to go for it she made it clear that if it went wrong I couldn't blame her ha ha. If it had have gone wrong I wouldn't have blamed her at all, I bought the colour, I told her to do it and she made it clear that she was unsure so it was totally my bad if it went wrong. But although the colour was not what either of us expected I think it's worked out better

Although I don't tend to spend a huge amount of time in my hallway....
Fairy cakes Nomad! Thanks to your expert help I managed to make 3 batches of 6 rather large ones. They were vodka & orange (but you can't taste the vodka), malibu and pineapple (sadly, can't taste the malibu either! Think I will have to put more in next time) and banana and walnut. All were very yummy
First loss of the year at Fat Farm last night. Last week I gave our leader 2 weights and 2 dates which are my mini goals for the year. The first is for the WI before my birthday in July and the 2nd is for the last WI before Christmas. I WILL hit these goals
Fairy cakes Nomad! Thanks to your expert help I managed to make 3 batches of 6 rather large ones. Glad the cakes turned out well. I want to try them next time!!!! Well done on the loss, that's great.
I think it's great having a birthday in July, being half way through the year, because I do what you do and use that as my first goal and Christmas as my second goal.

Certainly breaks the year up doesn't it Nomad!!!
Well what a stressy day it's been. Work was fine but before I left for work Mr Taz phoned to say he'd broken down. He got the car towed to the garage by where he works and last time I spoke to him he had spoken to the garage and the job was trickier than they thought so not only will he not be getting the car back today but the original estimate may rise! Not a welcome expense in January
I called a friend when I got home as I was supposed to be taking her to pick her car up from the garage then promptly wished I hadn't as she was full of doom and gloom. I don't mind listening to my friends problems but when they are being hypocritical and selfish my teeth make my tongue hurt!!!
Back to my normal job tomorrow, I think I'm going to enjoy the rest
