Taz's diary - Need to do this!

And with 6lb to go til my next mini goal in 5 weeks time I only need one of those weeks to be a 2lb one and I will hit it no trouble!

Got my medical on Wednesday so back to normal duties on Thursday. That does mean that I now have 4 days off which will be strange but I do have a lot of stuff to sort out here so I'm sure I will be kept busy.

I will try Gem! I managed to lie in until 7 this morning so that was good. Now just waiting for Mr Taz to wake up so we can get on with some work here!

I beat you by an hour Taz - its unusual for me too x

Today was mostly spent clearing out the wall cupboards in the kitchen then taking the cupboards down. It means that, once again, my poor lounge looks like a junk yard :'( But it's all in a good cause. The electrician will be here on the 21st to completely redo the kitchen electrics and it all needs to be clear for him to work in there. Then once that's done we have to get at least one of the walls plastered. Then we have to get more stuff cleared ready for the new kitchen to be delivered on the 13th and the work to start on the 16th September. It's going to be a week of ultra chaos here but unfortunately it's going to be too expensive for us to move out for the week as we would have to stay local and all the hotels here are very pricey

Had a lush spa day today, planning to go back for a proper spa break at the end of the year

Went to my OH appointment today and I am back to full duties but with a 10pm curfew. The doctor was really pleased with everything I've been doing and the way I'm looking after myself and my condition but he did warn me that my job will accelerate the wear and tear on my knees and asked if the job satisfaction outweighs that risk. As I turned down a promotion last year with a 6k pay rise because I am perfectly happy in the job I'm doing I would say Yes, the job satisfaction DOES outweigh everything else!

Yes, it took a lot of convincing but I know what I can and can't do and I think sometimes they just have to trust me on that!

Another lb off this week. I was hoping for a little more as that would have bee 10% off but that will have to wait for next week now. I can't complain at any lb's going, they are all good gone

It was a tease this morning Gem, I was right on the edge of that extra one
