Hi all,
Im also ccing but have done sw in the past,I would also like to join your challenge starting tomorrow I'm going to give up chocalate/crisps and biscuits.

Hey skinnies - I really need a bit of a pull up after a week or more of basic self sabotaging. No idea how much I have put on will weigh in on Thursday and update then. But for Lent I will go back to primal with no more cheats - no porridge, grains, refined sugar, legumes, dairy and swim 3 hours per week, boxercise one class and kettlebells two classes.
I've come too far to give up now....
So my Lent goal is to get to 10 stone 7lb.

RawrGirl is doing horrible so far. Does 30 seconds to 2 minutes of stretching her hamstrings right before bed after exclaiming, "oh fudge, I forgot to stretch again!" count?

Expensive? RawrGirl just does a DVD. All you need is a mat if you don't have carpet, and a stretch band is nice for the unflexible (ie RawrGirl), but optional.

I know- I even used to do it on my Wii fit! But much prefer a class, find it so much better! X
 
Had my first proper primal day yesterday - brunch of butternut squash, chilli and cauli soup with 2 slices parma ham and baby tomatoes. Dinner - Chicken and veg curry with coconut milk. 2 glasses red wine. An apple. Herbal tea and water. Did Boxercise for an hour class and kettlebells for half hour. In bits today - so just having a walk with the dog & we've a double hand swing challenge in kettlebells, so I'm going to practise with my smaller 5kg weight.
On the down side weigh in was 11 stone 8.4 lb :cry: Brunch today - bacon, one homemade sausage, fried mushrooms. Going to a friend's for dinner, so will have to see what I can have.
Tomorrow will do half hour kettlebells & then Friday night an hour swim and maybe rowing. So on plan but the scales aren't!!

Ah. You are much braver than RawrGirl. She is SOOOOO unflexible she would never be caught dead in a yoga class. Mortification to the extreme, lol. RawrGirl's lent goal is to be able to touch her toes. She has no idea if that is realistic or not in that time period, but that is her goal. Here's a pic Prince Charming took over the weekend...that's how far RawrGirl has to go. Horrid. And look at her back. Ugh. Her stomach needs to be against her thighs. All that is in the hamstrings, and RawrGirl's are VERY tight...probably due to running for years without ever bothering to stretch. :(

I have super-tight hamstrings from running and years of hockey! I'm really inflexible too but the yoga class was dark and people were concentrating on their own postures so I don't think anyone noticed me ;) I couldn't believe how flexible the instructor was though. She literally had her head buried into her shins, pretty much like you're aiming for!
