We're starting to have so many people interested in being part of a team, that I thought I'd get this one started for people to join :)

You can have up to six members, so the first six members to post get a place on this team!!!

Can I join please!

I'm new to forums (not so new to dieting!!)

I've done every diet going. I'm 5'3". At my heaviest I was just over 14 stone. Only ever been successful with this type of diet. Got down to 9st 12 once, then put it all back on when hubby said he preferred me bigger.

I started about 3 weeks ago. Was 100% good and lost 9lb week one. However had a wobble and had some bad news so it all went to pot. Gained 7lb in week 2!!!

Well back on it today. Feel like it's day 1 again.

Looking forward to some team motivation!

there aren't many rules and there aren't any competitions at the moment.. it's simply a nice space to share the highs and lows of your week.. to get to know each other ad support each other.. that's the idea of the groups

we can have a maximum of 6 people in a group.. and you two are the founder members :D

Can I join please? I'm on day 7 and on 810 plan, does that still count as I'm not SS. I'd love to have some company along my journey. I've posted a few things and started a weight loss diary but not found anything really sticky yet with the same group of people chatting regularly.

well I've had a tiny slip today on day 8 - had 4 liquorice sweets (the soft panda type ones). Hoping it won't send me out of ketosis!

Argggg - I go through such peaks and troughs throughout the day about being strong and 100%, and then go and pop sweets in my mouth! B***cks!

Hi Tbag and all at Team Spirit xx do you know what for the first time in around 6 weeks I can say that today I have been 100% YEY!! Did really well before my holiday and lost 1stone 10 lbs I put 4 lbs on during holiday and have been static since until last week where i lost 1lb and this week 2lb so I am getting there , i am a headteacher at a special needs school and have been off for summer hols so lots of meals out catching up with friends and family so have really struggled to stay 100% for a whole week have had good days though BUT today I feel that I'm back in the zone and it's with the help of the forum. I cut up a mint crisp bar into pieces and have munched on that tonight to curb my sugar cravings, the evening and weekends are my downfall especially if my oh is at work. It really is difficult getting out of the habit of eating and for me it really was a habit i didn't need it but felt that I did I ate when I was happy, sad , lonely, busy, bored, tired i could go on and on i didn't need an excuse !!!!! I've tried lots of diets includin ww and sw lost weight on both but only around a stone and so slow !! I find the fact i dont need to eat and think of what my next meal is going to be works for me and thats why i'm doing ss. When i'm usually on a diet i think of food all day wwww what can i have for lunch, dinner, snacks ect and think of the things I couldn't have and basically i wasmiserable with ss i am on ahigh and i have loads of energy can't wait to get there again. wps sorry i'm going on a bit anyway thank you for the welcome Tbag we can do this Team Spirit!!!!
 
Hello Team Spirit are you there or have i frightened you all off ??? lol! How did christening go Tbag? xx I'm doing really well today and feel positive not looking forward to work tomorrow but it will be lovely to see everyone again after 6 weeks x
 
Hiya! Sorry, been at this Christening all day. Was really good, absolutely no alcohol passed my lips, drank 3 pints of water instead, and just had a piece of fresh Ham and green salad from the buffet. So that's my little meal of the day. Had a tetra when I got back at 6pm, and will have my final shake later and try the ice crushed in blender again.

Have to say I was REALLY tempted to go off plan today, especially when the cupcakes came out! It took all I had to say no to the cheese board and pate! Let's hope all this abstinance is reflected in my weigh in on Wednesday. How was everybody else's day??
 
Well done Tbag social occassion's are the worst for temptation aren't they and all the foods you mentioned it really was a good spread especially the cupcackes i love them especially lemon ones yum xx I went shopping this pm for school shoes i know i know last minute but i had bought some from next but they were too big for both my sons, managed to get a pair for my youngest but not my eldest wps! I don't know how i will get up tomorrow at 6 for work !!!! I've had another good day diet wise I stopped at mcds drive through for the kids on the way home and i wasn't tempted at all xx I wont be on during the day this week as i will be back at work but will post evenings xx
 
Good luck being back at work. I'm on Maternity leave at the moment, so know what you mean about having a break and getting back into the rhythm. Hopefully things diet wise will be easier now you're back at work - at least you'll be so busy all day you won't have time to think about food etc. Let us know tomorrow night how you get on.
