Fingers crossed for your weigh in. Last night we were told that a mars egg (possibly with the bars) was about 80syns, so I think the buttons egg would be a bargain by comparison! I've avoided our easter egg (hubby has eaten it all) because I know I would want to eat it all and cant afford all the syns!

1 1/2 off (had hoped for more but aiming for 1 1/2 every week for next 4 weeks !!! )

I looked in asda but no small buttons eggs but i do have one with 2 dairy milk mini eggs in one egg and i think it is about the same syns (28 but just checking)

I also have mini lindor eggs to show the group everyone can have a little treat at 1 1/2 syns each :)

Ok i haven't posted as have had nothing positive to post :-(
I have been seriously off plan this has been partly due to 11 days off my regular job/routine and partly due to feeling so down at not being able to exercise and disappointed that I have failed so miserably at the slimathon. I will be making a donation to the charity and I am taking the pressure off myself to complete the slimathon. WOW feels good to put that down in words.

This year has been my hardest year for weight loss/weight control since i first found SW and it basically comes down to not being able to exercise. Now as a consultant I always tell my members you can lose weight without exercising which is so true, exercising for me is a huge stress relief and flood of happy hormones. Without I feel miserable which then effects my desire to eat properly :-( which then makes me feel more miserable and so the cycle starts.

As of today these are the changes I am making

1) For now I am going to assume that i will not be running regularly for the next 3 months at least so need to look at a regular yoga/stretching and cycline routine the only things I can do.

2) I am going to aim to get back in my target range but not worry if it is only just.(i am probably 6 to 9 pounds above target as of right now so a loss of 3 to 6 pounds ..yikes)

3) Home scales are going away and I am only going to weigh at the group I attend for the next few months

4) I am going to follow the plan to the letter and not try to cut back on syns etc so the plan is enjoyable. Counting syns carefully and enjoying every one used.

5)Write a food diary every day until i get back in my target range ..not just the good days

6) Try and remind myself I am not bad person I am just a normal person who sometimes makes poor food choices.

Day 1 back to target plan

green day
breakfast
hi fi and banana (1 heb)

lunch
lf super noodles and bag of stir fry veg
hi fi (1 heb)

dinner
tomatoes and
42 g rf cheese

snack

Hi Teresa

Its good to see you back. I'm sorry you're not feeling too positive at the moment. I like your list of aims they are sure to get you feeling better. You're not a bad person, you know that, but I know what you mean when you're feeling rubbish when days on plan turn to being off plan. But you can turn this cycle around and you'll start to feel better. Your menus are look good :)

(((Chin up -you can do this )))

Thank you for your support. I am still not my usual cheery self but even 1 and a bit days of healthy eating and already i have started feeling a bit better. Too much sugar definitely affects my moods.

My fridge is woefully bare at the moment so ended up with eggs and tomatoes for breakfast and a hi fi bar

Luckily there are plenty of strawberries here at work so i can get some fruit in and i will shop tomorrow.

I really wanted to weigh this morning and was so glad the scales were away !
