Ive had a quick look, I'll try and put off surgery as long as I can, hopefully doc will give me some stronger painkillers

I got my MRI results today - dont know what half of it means lol


I have :

Right paracentral disc herniation and the intravertebral disc between T8 and T9 in the lower thoracic spine. There is also osteophyte formation on this level, There is also a Schmorl's node at this level. If this continues to be troublesome despite the Gabapentin, then it may be worth considering referral to a spinal surgeon

It may not be what you want to hear but at least they know what's what and can hopefully help xx

Yeah hopefully they can Gill, I was hoping that something would show up I knew I couldnt be in this much pain to tell me they couldnt find anything. I'll see what GP says next week and take it from there x
