Texty's Back - Plain and Simple

Liking the first part but not the last sentence, obviously! Hopefully she'll rest plenty now and it won't get any worse.
I'm sure you've fairly recently said but being a lazy so and so I'm going to ask again, how long has Andrea got left now? It's so lovely having a newborn around... our little grandaughter is just over three months now but her and her Mum are back living with us, so it's been great seeing her develop without suffering the tiredness of being the new Mum hehe. I love being a grandparent!

She will have 7 weeks on Thurs eekkk lol I dont know who's more excited me or her lol. Im really looking forward to it I just wish she still lived across the road (or maybe not hehe) I'll help as much as I can I know she wont cope well at first and I worry about her depression kicking in again x

Hehe I could just eat it..... well a big slice anyway lolx

I wish I could make cakes like that yummy ! :D Cloudy just told me she makes amazing mince pies, I know where I'm going for Christmas :p. What's your fav at Christmas Sheila ? Do you cook for the whole family ? xx

I don't know if she has any other children or if this is her first baby. My daughter is 22 and I honestly didn't know quite how she was going to be, especially as her relationship with the father didn't work out and things had been a bit difficult through the latter part of her pregnancy. However, she has taken to being a Mum like the proverbial duck to water and although she's living with us, she does nearly all the baby related stuff herself, I just get the lovely cuddles and fun parts. She's been lucky that she's such a good baby, has slept through from about eight till five most nights almost from the beginning!! and then back to sleep for a further couple of hours, so she hasn't had the awful tiredness maybe, that a lot of new Mums have but I'm proud of the way she is determined to provide the best she can for her daughter, despite the problems she had before.
I'm sure with you to turn to if and when she needs it, Andrea will be great, and you'll be there to keep an eye on her own wellbeing and enjoy being a Granny, Nanna, Nanny or whatever, its great fun. :)

Lol id have a go at making one! even if only to eat the maltesers off the top hehe.

We used to go to my parents for Xmas day and then when they passed away - I started cooking at home for us all, we have been invited out the last couple of years, so it was nice to relax, last year was back to me cooking. Ive no idea what we will be doing this year as the little one will be here :D

I love my xmas dinner - but the best bit is afterwards when we are all sitting having drinks, watching tv and eating nibbles. I always go overboard at tea time I make a MASSIVE buffet lol theres always tons left. x

He will be her first one hun, she is 29. I may be doing her a dis service by saying she wont cope, shes great with little ones and had a lot to do with her 2 young nieces ( she is godmother for one of them). I think her hubby will be hands on hes mega excited and very over protective. I'll be Nanna lol - really looking forward to kisses and cuddles and babysitting time.

She had really bad depression and only stopped her tablets to try for a baby so im hoping it doesnt spark it off again x

It is such an exciting time... hopefully she'll be close to her due date and he won't keep you all waiting lol. I'm a Nanny, as I already have a grandson and his 'other' grandmother is Granny, which suited me. You will LOVE it, it's such a joy having a wee little one around.

I really hope it doesn't spark it off her depression, its a lovely time but can be stressful and obviously, very tiring too. Hopefully her GP will be keeping an eye on her, as well as you. I wish her well and will look forward to baby news in due course. :)
