Yes, you're on hand if they really need you but could rely on you too much if you're just available 24/7. Getting into a routine early makes things easier in the long run. Even though my daughter is living here, I still made sure not to just do everything for her all the time. Seems mean but she needed to learn for herself, now she's a very confident Mum.
You'll need time to catch up with your own jobs and some 'you time' too hun x

Ive told her I will stay at home at the weekend and let them have some quality time, then OH comes in from work and says can we go see Jackson on Saturday lol so more cuddles hehe x

Hahaha, well who are you to argue against it! Then you should persuade him he needs to take you out for dinner afterwards too :)
 
Well so much for my early night. I'm now wide awake as sis has been taken into hospital with another possible stroke she text earlier to say she didn't feel right but couldn't explain what was wrong! I told her to go to a and e or ring 999 as that's what she was told to do.

Morning from an exhausted Texty!!!

I've text sis to see what's happening. I know she's had a scan, they are running a multitude of tests and she has had a video link with a dr who was at home when they admitted her. He is a stroke consultant and it was done via TV and microphones! Technology eh. She text me at 7pm to say she was feeling sh*t she was in hospital by 7.30. She said well I can't ring 999 and say I feel sh*t I said yes you can!' Tell them you've had 2 strokes already so she must have listened x

She's just text me they have her on soft foods only as she almost choked doing one of her tests last night. I told her weeks ago her swallowing reflex had been affected but there was only me had noticed and I'm not a dr grrr plus her phone is dying and no charger with her. I've suggested she write mine and her oh numbers down then switch it off for now.

Well brekki is off to a good start will try my best to stick to a red day today

Ww susages 1.5 syns 2 wholemeal rolls hexb mushrooms and fried toms

Not sure about dinner and tea yet.
