Texty's Back - Plain and Simple

Ahh if only it was as easy as to tell her to stop stressing hun

Everyone would rather have her well than xmas presents xx

I know hun I wish it was that easy. I know she likes to spoil the grandkids but shes going to have to think of herself for once x

Afternoon, I'm late getting around to everyone gain today!

Sorry to hear about your sister Sheila, it's so worrying for all of you.

I hope you are able to enjoy your day today with Andrea and Jckson and that they're helping to take your mind off things a little xx

Thanks hunni Ive had a lovely day with lots of baby cuddles :D

Sis has been kept in overnight by the Physios they are not happy about her balance. Shes been moved to a care for the elderly ward shes not happy!!

We worry about the stupidest things when we are ill... Tell her to just make a few things babe... I give homemade gifts all the time, those that turn their noses up don't get anything... xx

We do hun your so right unfortunately. She is very clever with craft stuff and she could make some lovely gifts - not sure how she would manage with her hand at the mo as she has no grip, I could help her if needs be. She's done candles n stuff before so I know she makes some really nice stuff. x

I think its a big compliment if someone makes me a homemade gift.... it means they consider I'm worth taking the time over, rather than run into a shop and buy any old thing. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate bought presents too but sometimes I've been guilty myself of thinking, that'll do... when I'm tired and at the end of the christmas shopping list. Later I wish I'd bought something different, or as you say, made something myself.
Last year I did little gift hampers of homemade lemoncurd, biscuits and truffles. Not very slimming world friendly but it was before I joined up lol. This year, I'm doing similar but in little baskets and will include some little bits of make up/nail varnish/cleanser type bits for my girls and a couple of friends. I've had fun planning it and already got the baskets at a craft fair. :)

Hi hun - I love stuff with thought put into it like that too. I made sis a lovely little hamper/box last year with stuff for pedicures, face, hair, etc. I bought her junk jewellery cos I know she likes that for her nights out, and even though I dont agree with her smoking I bought her a little tin to keep her ciggies in with matching travelling ashtray that could fold into her handbag.

I may be going to pick her up from hospital tomorrow so will have a chat with her xx

Hello

Just echoing what's been said, hope sister is on the mend and she stops stressing although easier said than done.
Wonderful news about Andrea crying when she saw her little one after her night out, she can't go wrong as a new mum with you by her side, your ace!

Enjoy Jackson cuddles xx

Awww thanks for the lovely compliment hun.

Sis is doing her best to stop smoking too thats hard for her as shes smoked for as long as I can remember probably from about the age of 13 if not earlier! She went out on Sat night for her daughters 30th birthday and there was hassle with our neice and a litre bottle of voddie so that wont have helped grrrr x

Hey hun, sorry to hear about your sister. Hope they let her out soon! Loved your post about Andrea, I filled up a little too :) xx

Awww bless ya! thanks Kally. Ive had a lovely day with them both today im back to work Monday so making the most of it lol x

Sheila if your sister is a worrier there's not much anyone can say to placate her I'm afraid. But I know family & friends would rather have her feeling well than receive a Christmas gift!
Andrea is a super loving mum...Jackson is getting the best of both worlds...his mummy & nanna!! and daddy of course! :D

Your so right Janet hun - it must run in the family! Andrea told me off today for worrying too much about whats gonna happen when Sis gets out of hospital and how she will cope. I will try and talk some sense into her tomorrow . Shes just text me to say she now has an allergic reaction to the venflon they have put in grrrr x

My dad had a Heart attack 3yrs ago & tried to give up smoking, he was at ours and went outside to smoke when dad came back in I said thought you'd given up 'look love, I've smoked since I was 14 I can't just give up,like that' was his reply, he made a fair point so so I left him to it. X
