The Body Magic Team (formerly exercise bike challenge)

It seems to be getting harder to fit in any exercise and building up the enthusiasm to do it. Got just over a weeks hols to use up from Friday so with a bit of luck will get back into it over the weekend then get a good week in next week.

Hopefully will snap out of this can't be bothered attitude soon.

Hope yours is going well though with the walking and kettlebell!
 
OMG I have no energy at all!!!

I haven't done any exercise this week bar a few kettle exercises on mon but nothing to write home about.

Its my day off tomorrow and so I shall be getting on the bike at some point and hopefully do some over the weekend. Better week for me next week as hubby isn't here and I get on the bike no prob, when he's here I just watch flippin tv!!!

Anyway pleased to report I lost 2.5 this week.

I'm off from tomorrow so time to get serious. Not expecting to lose much this week but hopefully next week will be better.
 
Hi Guys,

Managed 20km's this morning and i've done some kettle moves too.

Seriously need to research into the kettle routine more as I still can't do Clean!!! ;-)
 
Lol punch your palm up slightly as the bell turns. Keeps it fron slamminf into your arm!

Did about 24km this morning. Need to do kb at some point....

Well I've done it, Ive watched another youtube vid and I think (?) I've got the Clean!!! The Press of corse follows on lovely.

I still feel like the bell is slamming against my arm slightly when it gets to the resting position but at least I can now see how it gets there, not like the twisting motion I was doing!!

Another viewing today at 11am so the bike will be going in the shed....Only for a few hours though lol!!! Hopefully do some more later anyway along with my newly added clean and press to my routine.

Wish me luck for 11am guys, we really really want to sell now as our dream home is just sitting there all empty in need of a lovely family to move in (I mean me by the way ;-) )

no bike for me again but I have been doing the Kettlebell which seens a lot more tiring than the bike.
Tomorrow will do both and I think I will have to make a promise to myself to try a lot harder than I have been doing.
Doubt very much I can make 80k for this week though, if I do it will kill me,

I hope the viewing went ok Lucy and well done on conquering the clean.

Aye the kettlebell will tire you more, it uses loooooaaaddddsss more muscles. God I love the kettlebell lol. Cant wait to get a heavier one this xmas!!!!
 
Just done 10k on exercise bike in the hope that all those extra calories will help my weigh in tomorrow haha.
Yes I can definitely see that kettlebell is a really good way to exercise and its good because its done over a short period too which is an even bigger plus for us all when we are pushed for time
 
I was aiming for 20 yest but at 10km's the day went horribly wrong. Alfie projectile vomited and burst through his nappy at the same time, what a clean up operation that was!!! Then, during his nap I went to check on him and he was soaking! He'd brought up his bottle again and it was everywhere god love him. He wasnt even crying!!

Needless to say i've been worried about him, saying that though he eat his tea and he's not been sick since, phew!

Now its just me that doesn't feel well....my tummy started feeling off just as tea was coming, bloomin typical as hubby had treated me to steak too! Ended up in bed at 7.30 and still have a funny tummy and i'm really achey all from my neck down. It can't be the kettle exercises and besides its not that exercise ache.

So, exercise for me today will be lucky! Going to take it easy and try to feel better for work tomorrow!

Hey do any of you fill out the fit logs for body magic?? I was thinking I really should start and get me some more stickers!!!

Hi Lucy, looks like you're having a bit of a hard time at the moment. I hope Alfie is ok and that you get to feeling better soon, I just hope you're not coming down with the flu, what with you being all achy.
It looks like my measly 10k yesterday worked last night as I lost 1.5 1lbs today so well chuffed with myself,
Today I am starting the scan bran challenge and only hope that I can manage a full week of it and that it actually works. If it doesn't, no more scan bran for me. Today I put some honey and FF yoghurt poured over fruit and need some ideas of what to do with it for the rest of the week as its not the most palatable food I have ever tasted.
I don't fill in any fit logs. I was until recently filling in my own notes of how much I had done on the exercise bike and how long it took, how many calories etc. My bike is in the bedroom so was my book and for some stupid reason brought it downstairs a few weeks ago and needless to say I have gone downhill from there. Decided yesterday that I will start doing it again as I was at the time adding up how much everything came to in total and was surprised how much my fitness level was going up and how much quicker it took me.
Enough rambling, now off to do the dreaded housework then shopping.

There are a lot of colds and stomach bugs going around at the moment. Thankfully flu doesn't seem to have really hit too badly yet. Yes you should fill in the body magic logs! I do the body magic certificates and stickers and stuff at my group, really whip people into exercising lol! Plus nice shiny new stickers :)

I do SW online so might give it a go on there. I assume they do the same thing and will get a sticker or 2 added to my profile maybe.

Off to do it now I think, save the exercise for later.
 
Well thats it. Man down...Hubby is ill in bed and so i'm left to look after squitty box Alfie. Never mind, on the plus side i've got ready and been into town to get hubby cold and flu pills. Us women just have to keep going don't we Ange!! ;-)

Think i'll be having today as a day off from exercise and start monday a fresh and start my log for a week on wed's class. She doesn't do any body magic in class so should I just hand her the log after week 1 or once i've done the 4 weeks Aesir???

Perhaps I could ask if she'd mind mentioning it in class, as a new year thing maybe. I know its a busy class and takes a long time to get around everyone's losses/gains but it shouldn't take long should it??

Just waiting for my first on-line delivery from Sainsburys as I had a £10 off £50 shop. Should be here soon!!
 
She should do body magich herself or ask another member to volunteer. Exercise is not just about weightloss, its about living a healthy lifestyle and is that not what slimming world is all about?

Weekly logs I think are best. Keep you going!
