The Body Magic Team (formerly exercise bike challenge)

Evening All, managed 20km's today, nearing the finish line ready for the week to start again! Sure does come around quickly!!

How are we all doing??
 
I managed 17k today and have another 22k to do for the week
haven't managed to get on to put all my distances in until now
 
Phew, thank god thats over with!

Have to say i've struggled a little bit this week, Alfie must be going through a growth spurt as he had me up 8 times last night!!!

Bring on next week???!!!!
 
Sorry Alfie has been a bit vocal :( at least you managed to get the km done! I'm in London so no bike but have spent hoooouuurrrss walking lol
 
I think I need to go back to school next week, totally miscalculated how many km's I had done earlier in the week which meant I was 10 below target aaargh.
Anyway here's how I did this week.

Also been using the kettlebell this week so thought I would have a nice big loss this week.

I lost 1 lb but at least I'm still going in the right direction.

Aww, sorry to hear you didn't get the big loss you had hoped for...Were you good with the diet?? Its Slimming World you follow I take it?

I had a loss of 1lb last week and although I didn't deserve more I wanted to have lost more if that makes sense!!!

My downfall is red wine. If I stay away I usually see 1.5 minimum and this whole weekend i've only had 1 small glass so we shall see wed's!!

Only gone over syns once this week and thats today, bit too much gravy, the glass of wine and a few other bits but I've been well under syns the other days so we shall see!

Are we uping the km's this week then??????
 
Well i'm probs gonna see a gain this week lol. Eaten pizza 3 times! Walked absolutely loads of miles but i reckon a big gain this week!

Yes it's the slimming world diet that I'm doing
I think that my problem is probably not having enough syn's in the day as find it hard to fit them in.

I eat lots and lots of fruit and veg and I reckon that I eat maybe 1/3 to at least 1/2 superfree foods everyday,

today I have had 13 1/2 which is the most I have ever had and normally struggle to get in 5.

I suppose that the way it is sometimes,

I won't be going on my exercise bike tonight, may go on tomorrow after work.

Are we sticking at 85 or are we going for more this week?

Its important to eat syns, they provide essential fat. It should be easy to get 5 in - a milky hot choc will be nearly five lol. Bowl of cereal. Toast. Choc or crisps. Anything on the healthy extra list after you have had your allowance. Enjoy them :)
 
I'm going to struggle to do 85 this week most likely so lets stick at that and see how we get on??

Hopefully get on the bike tonight, I put it in the shed for a viewing on sun and I need to get it back out!!!!

Hmmmm, 16 for me tonight and it was hard!!!

I put it down to hubby having the footie on and me not getting into a programme. I just watched the km's slowly go up and it took for ever!

Won't get time tomorrow as its weigh in at 6.45 so I shall have to do thurs!!!

This week's going to be hard I just know it!!!!

so far I have done 10k each night for the last 3 nights, really struggling to get into it this week.

I doubt very much that i'll fit in the full 85 this week. Energy levels pretty low at the moment, (not true, just not in the mood for exercise) Hopefully will get back in the swing of things in next couple of days,

I've got my day off to spend with Alfie today and so I'll be trying to get some km's done whilst he's asleep but i've only done 16 so far this whole week and so no way i'll reach target.

Must be the weather perhaps, I've lost all motivation!!!

I bet Aesir' has some words of motivation for us although he's been rather quiet after his PIZZA!!!!!!!:8855:
 
Lol! I'm being a good boy! Time has been stretched this week, have had to focus on piano. Only done 15km so far eeek! But I am still gonna try for the target. I kept mine at 80km this week but will be changing it :)

After London I thought I would gain weight but I still lost a little bit ;) now I want to lose 2lbs. This will hit three targets for me....one and a half stone award, under 250lbs and BMI below 35! i have been doing 10 minutes every morning with the kettlebell to push things along lol.

This challenge keeps us going! I know I would have given up the bike if I wasn't involved. However, I really don't have lots of spare time, as I know others don't, so I think I am gonna lower the km to 60 or so but make sure a bulk of those are on the next hardest setting.

Yeah, perhaps more than 10km's a day is proving a little hard!

I've managed 11 during Alfie's morning snooze, hoping to get back on me bike later.
 
Managed another 9 so thats 20 for me for today. Won't be hitting the target but i'll get close to it.

Perhaps i'll reduce it to 70 next week so an average of 10km per day.
 
Managed my 20 this morning so even if I manage 20 tomorrow i'll still be 9 short. Not too bad I guess.

Hope we are all having a great weekend!!! I can feel a few Gin & Slimlines coming on tonight!!!
