The Body Magic Team (formerly exercise bike challenge)

Evening All,

Managed 11km tonight, had to rush around like a mad thing this evening, its the taster night at class tomorrow and last time I took nothing and felt AWFUL! I've managed to russle up a lovely looking (and hopefully tasting) slimming world free quiche thats currently cooking whilst I got on my bike.

I cant quite believe the change in my outlook of things recently. I was really worried about going back to work but actually i'm enjoying all the rushing around and not having a minute to myself until the evening. I only hope that all this hard work will show in my weigh in tomorrow.

Is this a 77km challenge and does it go up each week?
 
Well it was 70 the first week and goes up 10% each week, so 70 then 77 then 85 then 93.5 etc however long you want it to go for :) dunno if you wanna start at week one or jump straight into week 2?

Well done on the 11km i'm glad you're enjoying being back at work!

Well weigh in for me resulted in 2lbs off!!!! Well pleased with myself, not long finished my 11km's too. Best have some tea!!!!
 
From reading previous comments, you start a new week on a Monday, so i will start from whatever you are all on on Monday then

Angem why don't you start this week and just do say half this week's challenge??? Would get you in the mood and ready for next weeks challenge??

To be fair I'm not sure I can match aesir with his 10% and as for 100km's per week........You must be nuts!!! Don't get me wrong, i'd love to stick with it and perhaps its just a bit of self doubt but I will be giving it a good shot thats for sure! And, If I don't get to 100, i'll be doing whatever I can to ensure I keep up the weekly challenge!
 
Did anyone do any last night?? I had a night off and totally regretting it this morning as I will struggle to get some done today, so cross with myself for choosing to watch a crap film with my 4.5 syn crisps and 5 syn curly wurly when I could of had them and done some more of the challenge.

A night off does good, gives muscles time to repair and grow stronger. I didn't do any yesterday either but will be tonight :) I have 55km left to do, how about everyone else?

I'm really hoping for a 3lbs loss this week as I am gonna be totally on plan. Last night I even resisted takeaway. It was so hard I literally had two voices in my head arguing over whether to give in or stay strong!!

Just managed 9km whilst little one had a quick snooze, will try some more later hopefully!!

I hate it when them voices appear!!! I have totally changed my lifestyle with regards to drinking over the last month. Hubby and I used to quite easily polish off 2/3 bottles of wine a weekend and if I if one of us had a bad day another one would appear. I only drank last fri because I went out for a meal and i've been good all the rest of the time but last night I could of had a glass so badly!!!!! We just have to be strong and think of the losses we can achieve.

3lb would be great to achieve!
 
Well I'm gonna have to use the bike for an hour tonight as I'm celebrating with some friends and it involves pizza!! Wanna get at least 30km to compensate!
 
Thanks Lucy .... Yes, I did it!!! Struggled a bit at the end, but I wasn't going to cave in!! I never exercise, apart from the odd bit of walking, so I'm feeling really chuffed!! Well done on your 15 ... I'm planning 11 per day for this week. Did you manage any in the end Aesir?

How are you getting on Squirrel Lili????
