The dreaded bridesmaid dress diet!

I have decided given my ever so upset tummy, the fact that I'm out of ketosis from yesterday's potato and that it's my birthday at the weekend that I'm going to stop s&s for a few days... Had a planned weekend off for my birthday and figure by the time I get back into ketosis again it will be time for my break!

Going to eat low carb and sensibly until 28th then back on it hopefully at least until the end of November, maybe mid December! I hope it's the right decision but if it's not... Well... I'll learn!

You've gotta enjoy your birthday. Sometimes we need to be kind to ourselves and give ourselves a break. It's such a hard diet. You'll do fab. You've amazing will power x

Jeez they look lush....will you be baking your own birthday cake though? Hope not...bf best get swotting up to make you the best cake ever...saying that he'd struggle next your culinary expertise :cool:

Oh my... The funniest thing just happened! 4 left over muffins, 2 of each... Decided if take them to a friend at work.. They were sat on the side waiting to go in a box, tiding up and box of icing sugar fell out if cupboard and squashed them!! Rescued to some extent but I laughed out loud!!!

Interesting theory.. I guess it's like the broken biscuits thing isn't it... Or if you share something the calories are cancelled out...
 
First day of non s&s is nearly over... Strange... Not particularly enjoyed eating... Tho partly I think that was due to eating my salad off a wooden fork...
 
It's strange isn't it. When doing a VLCD all I think about is food. To the point of obsessing and dreaming about it. Then when I can eat I realise its not all that x

I'm so pleased!! I actually slept right through last night after 3 nights of being awake at 2/3 am in agony! I've no idea whether it's because I've switched diets or just a coincidence but I'm going to stick with Atkins for a bit and see how it goes... Also drinking only peppermint tea at work so maybe that helped...

Today I have learnt that courgette's are not nice for breakfast!!!!

congrats on the sleep! It's. probably because you've relaxed your mind....not stressing so much over diets/food and anything....so glad you got some sleep hun :)

courgettes at any time of day are vile...ewwww!
 
Not sure why but very pleased! Think I'm going to really struggle with breakfast during the week... Need quick stuff... Anyhow remembered my own fork today so hopefully will enjoy my salad more too!

I think it's the diet maybe. I had a terrible sleep pattern on a VLCD. Really restless and took me ages to get over. 2 days on weight watchers and sleeping like a baby x

Bizarrely I've been sleeping like a baby on S&S....I'm horrendous with getting to sleep normally....why am I the weird one? Lol x

Strange how things affect us differently....

So another food day completed! Much better and much more enjoyable! I had a salad at lunch with sliced deli meats and goats cheese and then corned beef with shallots and stringless beans for tea.. Oh and eggs, sausage and courgette for breakfast!!!

Left over corned beef for breakfast... Bit scary... Calories at nearly 1200 for the day.. Will jump on the scales in the morning to see if they have changed...
